Anyone have recomendations for weather forecasting/science books, courses, etc? esp Mountain weather? (beyond the mountainsteers publication)

I was thinking of practices that would correct, or cause you to notice, errors when you aren't 100% vigilant..

More important than 'skills' is attention to detail and developing a consistant, error correcting, method for performing critical tasks. Gyms don't teach that, neither do clubs, that's a personal trait... that society is not reinforcing. I'm curious to see how the % spent at b&m stores varies with location. When I lived in PDX I spent more at stores because they actually carried climbing gear. I think the closest full service climbing shop to me now is 250 miles away in Bishop.
