All this talk of a "New World." Yes 9/11 was nasty, but it takes mor than that for a, "New World." A large astroid hitting the earth, now that would cause a, "New World."

read some of my other posts.

buddy, when you get a pagetop you need to celebrate

This is my bottom line. I'm into climbing and making money; especially making money so I can climb. GW needs to quit fucking around with Iraq and think about the US economy.

Dwayner is the man. Fuck Dwayner! Boo, Hiss.

Well the Europeans might have been too wimpy to get into a fight, but they knew those Serbs had it comming.

I like to think of this in terms of elementary school playground rules. If somebody hits me I can hit back, but if someone taunts me then I'm in the wrong to start a fight.

I'm having a hard time remembering which Iraq thread I was arguing with Fairweather on. Anyway I figure we would know the same things we do now. Saddam is an asshole. he has hidden some nasty stuff we didn't destroy in the Gulf War. He would like to make or get more nasty stuff. Well so what. We have an embargo on Iraq, and we have the no fly zones. Saddam is smart enough, politically, to control Iraq. I think he's smart enough to know he will never be able to dirrectly challenge the US. He might want to fuck with his neighbors, but if he did that too much he would get put down like in the last Gulf War. If we had proof that Al Quiada was involved with Iraq like they were in Afganistan (which we knew for years before 9/11) then I would be down with war. We do not have that kind of evidence. All GW's pro war bs has done is make the US look stupid. We should keep up the embargo, no fly zone. We should be spending most of our energy hunting and destroying Al Quiada and fixing our economy. Our economic recovery is being delayed by all this Iraq war bs.

Whatever Billygoat. I think the whole Trish thing is funny, especially after I got a couple PM's from, "her." Sorry it makes you feel bad Muf and Allison, but being mocked is one of the things you should expect around here.

The link between Iraq and Al Quida (Sp?) is pretty weak. In fact it's the weakest part of the case against Iraq. Saddam may deserve to get his ass kicked, but so do a bunch of other folks who we are willing to talk with.

Well it really doesn't matter what they have or don't have. It sould be obvious to any country with less than 2000 intercontinental nuclear weapons that if they were to attack the US with those weapons they would be, "bringing a knife to a gun fight," as the saying goes.

I'm all for a ski mountaineering forum, and I mean a forum that is inclusive. All the forums out there have tele in their name. Fuck that bullshit. An inclusive forum should be for AT, tele, and snowboarders. I think CC.com could do this.

GW has been for war all along. It sure sounds like you've been for war all along. Why else would you start a topic based on this. I have questions. If you want me to be behind war then the administration needs to answer those questions. I think a LOT of people take my view. North Korea is run by a bunch of freaks so is Iraq. If either country tried to use nuclear weapons against the US our government would turn their country to glass. North Korea has nuclear weapons and means of getting them to us. Iraq may have weapons in the future, and they might have a means of delivery in the distant future. Since you love ( ) GW you are unable to ask critical questions. Going to war demands answers to those questions.

Yeah Fairweather and you represent the voice of the slack jawed motherfucker Seriously your too much in favor of war. I don't plan on marching for peace, but like a lot of people I have mixed feelings about war with Iraq. We aren't going to war with North Korea, but they could hit Fircrest with a nuclear missile.

Fuck you, you anti oval people. They were good enough for me when I started climbing, and they are just fine now.

Just so you know Scott I was Scot'REI. Have fun with your silly chat board. I'll only post in the future if I can figure out how to make pot smoke come out from your computer.

Bzzz wrong you are Erik The Summer of Love was in '67. I remember it well being 3 years old. After they made LSD illegal there wasn't so much love.

I think TLG and I would find common ground till we had knocked Allison out.

This whole discussion is funny. If you are a good skier you will eventually push your limits and fuck up. If you wear a helmet then good for you. I don't cause I started skiing way before helmets were even considered for non downhill racers, and because I seem to be really good at taking a hit. Bottom line; in a race between Allison and TLG my money is on TLG.

Sorry I guess I'm not keeping up.

Did you have to have a private moment after the photo shoot Trask?

Jordop and I took advantage of the nice weather and headed up north of Pemberton for a ski trip. Our original objective was Mt. Samson; however when we reached Rairoad Creek we found a closed gate on the road further up the Lillooet. We decided to keep driving up the road to Railroad Pass. The road was compressed snow from a lot of snowmobile traffic. I put my Dodge in 4 wheel low, and we headed up the road on a surface was solid snowmobile whoop-de-dos. Up and up we drove. There was no snow on the hillside but lots on the road. We passed a spur road that headed towards Samson, but we decided that, due to the low snow pack, we would end up walking too much, so we kept driving uphill. My truck was doing fine as long as I stayed at about 5 mph or less; eventually Jordan told me we had driven past the last steep grade before the pass. Just when I thought we were going to drive to the pass I felt my truck start to sink into the snow, and 50 feet after that we augured in. We were only about 1/2 miles from the pass, so it only took a short time to ski there. At the pass we headed east till we reached a point we could ski up Donelly creek. We got off route, but eventually we reached the basin under the Train Glacier. Much to both our suprises we discovered the basin was a haven for high-marking snowmobilers (I may say more about this in spray). We set up our camp and did a short ski. The next morning we skied up the Train Glacier and eventually summited Faceless Mountain. I had never been this far north in the Coast Range, and I was totally psyched to get views of both the Pemberton and Lillooet Icefields. The ski down was Fun; we collected our gear and headed down to the car. All in all this was a Fun trip and the views from the peak were awesome

A few people were talking about the Pyramid last week.
