I don't think so, 7 day forecast; Snow and cold, and damm near knee deep now,you don't want to be under the roof eaves when they go!

Hope you got lot's of corn and straw in the coop!!!

  2. Good Rats
Most unheard of band with 11 albums and cds,i have heard their name before, but never seen their albums?

They never broke out beyond being a regional hit on the East Coast. Best album: Tasty

    They toured England to L.A.!!!

  3. Ken. Its not a troll. Pink Floyd IMO has a couple alright songs....the rest of them are for acid goers.....they are way overrated.

  4. Thank SOBO for the heads up,i knew i was missing something i'm going for a beer!

Oh by the way all most done with Shadow Divers, and there seem's to be two different storys about what happen on the boat and what was said by the Coast Guard SAR Diver and Chatterton about Chris Rouse? You need to read the Last Dive!

Pink Floyd early stuff was geared to the LSD crowd, with Syd Berrett who drank and used LSD to the max,and David took his spot. I started buying album in 71 and had UMMAGUMMA,ATOM HEART MOTHER,MEDDLE,AND OBSURED BY CLOUDS before Dark side of the moon came out,and druged out in my room to their mind music, but i had 200 plus albums (had a freind who would shoplift 20-50 a day and sell them for cheap,he would take orders)hell i even had THE CRAZZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN and all the early Mothers of invention,Jazz,Blues, and rock but no bubble gum crap!I used to say if you liked 2 or 3 songs on a album that it was good IMO,but haven't done LSD since the 80s!

Now i have 800 plus cds and 150 or more music dvds "Bootlegs" and still don't have a IPOD,but when it comes to music/bands you either like um or don't,I'm not in to rap or new country much. But this thread is about over rated bands so its all about your opinion and was not trying to change yours!

  6. Oh Feck Oddly enough I thought I wa sin the mood for Pawn Hearts the other day and yet I turned it off in favor of Henry Cow

I just played my LP after years of it sitting in the stack. I'd forgotten how much I liked them.

In 1978 the album "L" by Kevin Godley and Lol Creme was fucking out there with songs like:

    THE SPORTING LIFE

    SANWICHES OF YOU

    ART SCHOOL CANTEEN

    GROUP LIFE

    PUNCHBAG

    HIT FACTORY/BUSINESS IS BUSINESS

It was cool shit but i taped it off the the album of the week on KGON so never got the album, but used it as a alarm clock for about 8 mo. before the tape ate its lunch! My $250 tape deck could be progarmed to trun on the stereo to record or as a alarm clock with no snooze button and 200 watts per ch. and was in the livingroom,i had a bad habit of smashing alarm clocks !

Check it out,i've been looking for it every since, and still find myself singing bets and pieces of it!

  7. My nieghbors just invited me to a Babaque in his livingroom but i think i'll pass,he said its Rabbit but i haven't seen his 20 plus cats all week, and as i dug out my car i found his dog living under it and wouldn't leave. Its a warm 28Deg. today and 12" of snow so far.

  8. Well, it's snowing at my house, but I'd like a lot more...

Monday night i dug out the car in -2 Degs, after 45 mi. and a BlowTorch i got the door open climbed in and got it running, tryed to get out and the door wouldn't open so sat there drinking a beer for 30mi. til it unfroze, next day had to do it all over. Today its in the 20s and snowing with 10" in the yard so far, i'm going dig a path to the car later and start all over!

  10. Ya, Small world,i was front row center and they had a white line 6 ft. from the stage that you had to stay behind,if you got pushed over it security would throw you back in to the crowd,Security was not fuckin around, crazzy shit!

Born in Renton, raised in Kent, K.M.H.S. "CLASS OF 76" so we most likely seen alot of the same shows!!

My nieghbor has 3 Wishbone Ash CDs,i've burned copies,my bad!

  11. Fuck thats a ship and fucking deep, not to mention cold and dark,I would have done a few easy dives to make shure my shit was together before i'd do that, but i've never been past 110ft.for even in Hawaii its dark blue and black below!

Ya,it was January when i was Certified and my Casio watch with high and low temperature memory, the Sound was 46deg. 70ft down 43deg.,blue lips and ice cream headache, removing my mask and open my eye's to give the O.K sign was fucked, but the price was rite in Hawaii they wanted $300 for O/W,and the first time you looked up as you know cold water rushed down your neck to your balls in the wetsuit. I wasn't in to the dry suits B/C most leaked around the neck,in 88 i rented one for the weekend at the Oregon Coast and the first dive my tits were wet,so every dive i'd change tops but was not bad diving for cold water with 40ft visibility in big rock cliffs, short caves, and big Crabs.

In Hawaii i had two wetsuits one was a half suit,2 Aqualung 80ci.,3 steel 50ci.,2 BC packs, and one old pack with horse collar BC,8 Regulators and 3 gauge sets. If there was gear for sale i'd make a offer. Over the years i'd take non Certified dives out on Bug hunts in 30ft or less if they paid for beer and gas,and would not let my tanks go below 300psi,if it was empty the dive shop charged for tank inspection;Fuckers!

I fucking loved night diving in the reefs, you could fill the catch bag fast and the sun didn't beat the shit out of you.

When i moved back in 86 my dive bud gave me $1000.00 for all but my Mask,fins,2 ScubaPro Regs US Dive gauges witch i sold in 92.

Hell now they got 110ci. tanks, but if i go south to dive ever again i'll rent and go out on a fucking dive boat and let the dive master deal with all crap, get my dives in and hit the Beer and food!

  12. Yes, the War on Drugs. Since it began, pot has 20 times more THC, and both crack and meth were invented and are now widespread. Prescription drug abuse is now rampant. The supplies of all the major controlled substances have increased dramatically. We'be doubled our inmate population to over 2 million, the highest incarceration rate per capita of any nation. Move over, China! And, of course, there's the violence issue; in Colombia, in Mexico, and right here at home.

    Bravo!

"JUST SAY NO"..."WAR ON DRUGS"..."ABSTIENCE FIRST SEX PROGRAM"..."WAR ON TERRORISM"..."WAR ON THE MIDDLE CLASS"...

To hell with it! "I NEED A PILL"
