We the people. Ya feel more powerful just sayin' it. Like that Star Trek episode with the Yans and the Coms, ya know? Hook Pink Breadloaf offstage and get Shatner in here, though. Let's get a heavy to deliver that line.

Yes, Mr. SterStrong wishes to compete in tris - the sport he started out in as a pre-doped lad. He's a pro athlete. That's his life. He's certainly not going to make it in acting, although he did a good job a playing a clean version of himself in Dodgeball. Just another valuable lesson regarding the idea of the Hero: America's formerly favorite word. Bone is my personal hero, for his moral bravery, defiance of power, constant vigilance. and tireless efforts to really make a difference.

Seriously, we've got spacecraft leaving the solar system - we can figure this shit out, too. Stuff worth doing is hard sometimes.

All guns sold in the US should be chipped and tracked. Chain of ownership, baby. Controlling and detecting them at borders just isn't that hard these days with modrun gadgetry. It's not the 80s or 90s anymore. Not even close. As i mentioned, guns aren't even remotely close to drugs. the value of drugs per unit weight is thousands of times higher - they are non ferrous as well - much, much easier to smuggle, and much greater incentives to do so.
-
Guns are big and made of steel. Big steel things are heavy, hard to swallow, easily detectible, and in general, much more difficult to smuggle than drugs. Drugs, being addictive, have a lot more value to much greater number of consumers than guns. But that misses the real salient counterpoint - most of the guns in the world come from here. Are we going to smuggle them internally? Ei, I don't buy that line that a gun ban wouldn't work because the War on Drugs didn't. Apples and oranges big time. Just charge and handful of those who refuse to respect the assault rifle ban with felony domestic terrorism and you'll see the gun nut community, despite all the cold dead hands BS, hup to pretty quickly. Come the next election they can vote for Ron Paul or Jesus. Who cares?

You'll get little argument from me, there. At least the Dems are generally on the right side of the tide of social progress. The GOP's stuck in reverse - back to a past that never was. But hey, use the term Founding Fathers a lot between tee off times while collecting your taxpayer funded paycheck and watch the tears of patriotism well up in your dumb as shit audience. The problem is that social media and the innernutz have made it nearly impossible to continue recycling the same ole lies to cover up an agenda of wealth and power concentration. It's tough to stop the lies once you've built decades of political platform on them.

If you're going out in -F temps with a quilt, better be riding a tuan tuan. That's insane. About 2 am you'll be wishing you'd carried an anvil's equivalent of down. 50 degree night temps with a blankie, maybe.

If I had known what a bowlful of completely incompetent tools the GOP would eventually become, I would have complained a lot less about Reagan back in the day. They simply do not give a fuck about effective, responsible governance, or the common good. That shit is long gone. Fortunately, voters are increasingly taking the hint. That's what happens to fuck up morons - they eventually fuck themselves. Good riddance.

Older. "Spear control means using both hands" Most people don't can't seem to come up with original material, and thas cool, but it would seem that our Bone really doesn't get out much.

Probably too late with the advice. Hopefully the group has at least planned for some river running style field toi tois and a butt discipline talk beforehand. Pretty much the least you can do if you're going to tromp an army through the wilderness. Oh, and don't forget to rise up and dance: [video:youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGrbos6YW_o

Lance is an apex predator. He'll probably find something else to kill.

The thought of Bone wielding anything more lethal than a keyboard gives one paws.

What, with Gay Weed, Guns, n God's new underemployment, is the Age of Right Wing Fantasy Bullshit really ending? Are the adults really in the building after all these years? Could it be that the dumber 50% are being dragged, kicking and streaming, into the modern world, Lord? Could it be?

Multiple phone calls, no new report available. How far up the road can one get with a car?
