It's the "JDL" and I'm not a member. I'm sure they'd be interested in meeting you however. (Don't worry, I won't tip them off.) Yes, you are developing quite a reputation as a bigot on this site. Maybe you can teach your role-models how to climb; I can't imagine why anyone else would go with you anywhere:

If you have a power drill......and I have a crowbar....and my crowbar reaches alllllllllll the way over to your bolts.... I...CHOP...YOUR BOLTS! URjeS5-NaXY

Global warming? Ya think so? Here comes the Big Chill!

Hey Wise-ass/Colonel Klink: RE: die "kleine Judische Frage"..... It was called: "The Final Solution". I've got elderly friends who still have the camp registration number tattooed on their forearms. I'd introduce you to them, and believe me, they could take you on, but you'd probably insult them and learn nothing. Secondly, one of the strongest female climbers in the Northwest, and the oldest woman to climb Mt. Rainier, is a camp survivor (actually, I think she was in at least two). You're a zero in comparison. So, you got a reaction. Proud of yourself? Glad you live in America where you (and others of similar ilk on this site) can spout off your unthinking, ignorant comments about things you don't understand, with no real consequence? Sit down! - Don/Dwayner/Raindawg

It's a matter of logistics...It's a HUGE task and I realistically don't have the time to do it right. Doing it correctly should involve some sort of restoration, not merely chopping. I hope someone else will be able to take on this noble task and there are a number of us who would be supportive to the extent we can be.

Nope...first time for this one. Did you enjoy it? You know, sometimes Hitler's funny, a lot of time's he isn't. The kid with fake moustache is sort of cute and funny. So is this guy: [/img]

If having a strong stance about the environment and the state of my favorite recreation, climbing, makes me "self-righteous", so be it. Continue your placid acceptance of the status-quo. By such standards, then, you must be worth about $5???

It looks as if "kevbone" and "minx" really DO have something in common! P.S.

With that pathetic line of reasoning, a via ferrata, a blasted-out staircase, or a Pizza Hut half-way up is just fine.....compared to the situation in Iraq.

Billcoe...what you don't seem to understand, is that you're "li'l dawg" routine not only doesn't offend me, I used to think it was kind of funny....the first hundred times or so...and now the humor has been replaced with boredom. Back to the original topic....did you enjoy the video?

Uh....try not commenting on the subject until you climb the route..... You seem to be rather proud of yourself for climbing that thing, rather, you should be ashamed of yourself. Again, read some history. I don't care about the quality of the route, that's not the issue. I choose not to climb it because I am boycotting its very existence as I encourage others to do. If I do climb it, it will be with a crowbar. Did you enjoy the video?

Not as stale as your potty-mouth.

Dude....don't even comment on this subject until you read and understand the "route's" history. I'll make it short and simple for you: whether the "route's" "creators" knew it or not at the time, they installed their atrocity with a powerdrill in a wilderness area. Now go back and watch that video I posted.

1) made you look! 2) Figure it out.

Check out these "alpine big wall masters" as they thrash their way up the most illegitimate climb in the northwest. Clip 'n Go!!! Yee Ha!

Too many. I know what you're implying, mister, and it only shows your lack of knowledge of my perspective. I ain't opposed to all bolts, just most of them....they got their place, but as permanent alterations, they should be RARE (and safe). Sport climbing, for example, is the very opposite: drill at will with little regard for anything else.

Not long ago, and not wishing to brag, Dwayner and his buddy pope accomplished what many considered the impossible: the first ski descent of the West Face of Grand Central Tower at the Peshastin Pinnacles. No "freshies" here! Short 'n sweet! Biggest problem was dodging the plethora of mostly unnecessary metallic hardware. P.S. No sandstone was injured in the process of this descent. Unfortunatemately, a belays wuz necessary! Tight turn! Finishing off toward a sandy finish with an original move learned from pope's former (and bitter) gurlfren, Donna Top-Step. (The poles placed in front are planted at the base to facilitate a forward flip at the finish.) Nice job, Dwayner!

Here's a picture of the contractor on his way to work. YOU knew this was coming!

You heard wrong. Ever been climbing in Israel? I have, and I bet you haven't, Mr. Weissnichtheimer.
