Pain from metalwork/Pilon fracture

Arch, also read up on amino acids, Lysine in particular for helping your bones heal... I can positively say my injury healed faster through consuming proper fuels and exercising. Good luck! -

I had major ankle and fib trauma back in Feb... Bones broken, ligaments snapped, all that crap... No bueno... Pain is down and strength is up - seems like the healing happens in spurts. Two weeks ago my ankle was stiff, sore and weak, and now it feels like it's back to 90% again suddenly. The fib was the least severe but hurt the most and the longest. Hope yours suddenly feels better too! -
Josh, I have enjoyed reading your TR's. I greatly respect your honesty and willingness to share your experiences in the mountains and how they have affected you. I will say that you have been very successful in a couple respects the past few trips - You seem to have learned a great deal with each experience, and you lived long enough to apply those lessons. Keep your thirst for knowledge, progression, and safety and please continue posting your TR's. Climb on, broseph!

Pete, you can add North Idaho to your list too. I have plenty of beta on the best shooting/climbing areas...

Exactly, SS. Debra J. Saunders is full of crap. Purists like this need to stay the hell away from me.

...bagged my first peak since having my leg/ankle put back together. Wasn't an epic or anything but it felt good to be back out there

http://www.kirotv.com/news/10879220/detail.html WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- Police in Westerville say an 18-year-old high school student ran naked and screaming into his school cafeteria Monday. An officer monitoring the lunch period at Westerville North High School used his taser twice to stun the student, Taylor Killian. Police in the Columbus suburb said Killian was yelling and flailing his arms. He had rubbed his body with oil to keep from being caught. Other students screamed and ran away, but Killian kept running toward a group huddled in the corner until the second time he was shocked. Killian is charged with inducing panic, public indecency, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He will be taken to the Delaware County jail after booking. Police said he's being cooperative at the station.

Going to be in the Mt. Adams (south side) area this weekend and hopefully will have some time to get a little climbing in. Anybody know of some places to get in a little bouldering nearby? Thanks in advance!

Anybody been up this past week? How much snow is still there? Thanks for any info!

Are the ratings in North Bend? Reading the sandbag thread made me curious. I know the ratings there are generally regarded as a little light, but how light? A letter or two, or a full number?

Today I was at Little Si toproping some routes for a buddy new to climbing, but I wasn't on the rock when the injury occurred. The strap in my harness leg loop got wedged in the buckle funny and i was pushing firmly with my thumb to loosen it when I heard a riiiiip and and a meaty pop. Turns out this innocent little act tore a bunch of ligaments in my thumb and now I am sooooo pissed cuz I can't climb for a minimum of 6-8 weeks. Can't play golf either, for that matter.
