I just texted "Haiti" to 90999. $10 will be sent to the Red Cross (and added to my next phone bill) to help the poor people in Haiti, who had almost nothing to begin with, and now have less than nothing, and will have to bear even more horror and misery in the days to come, while I drive around drinking Starbucks coffee in a car with heated seats. I can't sit in a chair for an hour and spend less than $10, while these people have no food, or water, and can't even bury their dead with dignity. I also live near the Cascadia megathrust fault.
