  1. What ever happened to snugtop? Pretty indisputable.
  2. Was that on Crimson Chrysalis?
  3. It's like a tardalanche in here.
  4. I noticed that all but one of your 7 posts is gear for sale, and all but one of those have no replies. Have you met with any success selling your stuff here?
  5. I went in early August and the 'schrund in the B-S col was starting to get a little gnarly. It would be nicer to go up that col if it was totally snow-covered. But, I have some friends who went weeks after me and they managed just fine. So, I say go when you can go.
  6. CINDY WHAT THE FUCK
  7. 270 into a backside neck grind
  8. you guys are dorks
  9. Yeah guys. Can we get back to talking about which way the belay device should be turned? I think you should spin the middle side topwise.
  10. Good tenants are hard to come by. If your landlord likes you as much as you say, he/she should want to work with you.
  11. SERIOUSLY. They already tried to help this POOR GIRL just by putting her on the lease, and the show of good faith is biting them in the collective ass. The CB will never quit causing problems. Get her gone.
  12. also I know it doesn't change anything now, hindsight, 20/20, etc, but man, BAD CALL.
  13. Because she's a Crazy Bitch. Normal people think the way you say, like "I'm not wanted here and I'm unhappy, I will go somewhere else." Crazy Bitches don't care, all they care about is fighting as much as possible with anyone who will pick up the glove, even if it keeps them from actually being happy. This is drama. She will never have any lack of it in her life because she is the source of it.
  14. What does the lease say? If I were the landlord I'd have written the lease so I have a month-to-month agreement with everyone on the lease. I'd have the right to cancel the agreement given whatever notice was specified in the lease (a minimum is dictated by your local laws) and draw up a new agreement. I know things get way hairier when someone resists and you have to actually evict them, I'm not familiar with the legal workings, I've just seen it from the landlord's perspective before and know it's a big pain in the ass. BUT, it's a pain in the landlord's ass, I don't think you as a co-tenant has any part to play. Probably your landlord was hoping you guys could resolve the issue without it becoming a pain in his/her ass.
  15. The landlord could solve this, or at least back you up officially. Talk the landlord into it.
  16. I think ladies like for it to take longer than 7 milliseconds.
  17. Look guys, it's time we faced the facts- local warming is a reality. Just last night the temperature in my living room increased by approximately ten degrees. TEN DEGREES.
  18. Since the belay loop is flexible, I've always been convinced that if I put my hand by my hip while catching a fall, the device is going to sort itself out.
  19. Jens is either a troll or an eccentric. Kevbone is either a troll or a dumbass or maybe both. Buy the forged friends offered above.
  20. Honestly I'm amazed at the trust a lot of you seem to show towards partners you've never met before. It's true that the generally climbers are some of the most honest and good people I've ever met, but I still want a shakedown cruise before I head off on something committing with someone. Maybe this is just my own personality. Why are some of you willing to do this? Do you come to regret it at times? Do you keep doing it? Are you happy with the results?
  21. Hahaha, it doesn't sound like you need to leart how to do anything!
  22. Fusion is 30 years away.
  23. I started cheap by buying DMM cams. The are a good value, and some people like them a lot because they're light. They work well. I own C4s now also, because they are really nice. They are "worth it" because they're really versatile, they work well in horizontal placements, they place easily, they have a wide expansion range so there's less guesswork, the action is really smooth and easy, the loop is easy to grab, you can clip the loop while aid climbing... lots of reasons. But I think you have to get some experience before you know you want the expensive stuff. Besides, there's a good chance you'll eventually want a double set of cams, so why not start cheap? I don't have a lot of experience with rigid cams, but I'm sure they work, and they're cheap. You probably will have to be more careful to use them.

    Crash

If I don't see someone and I kill him, it becomes a problem for both of us. Why do you want to talk about legal responsibilities and who's going to lose in court? Isn't it more productive to talk about how to prevent accidents?
