  1. Sink the cap in your forearm and twist. You'll look pretty badasssss when you do this, so be prepared for the chicks to swarm. Make sure its a twist-top, though, cause they'll be just as quick to leave you bleeding on the kitchen floor, laughing their asses off. Also doesnt work too well when you're pumped.
  2. Thanks for that, Floodster. Helpful info. You have givin me some good insight into which G3 set I might look to demo when I get the opportunity. As a side note, I wouldnt say that there is an excessive amount of spray in this thread. Were just exchanging info, and having a good time while we do it. Unfortunately, I dont have as much free time as some, so I tend to have a little fun here. Im actually pretty serious once I leave the computer, as I think most of us are. Keep in mind that this is all about fun and games....and relax a little .
  3. Nice narrative, buddy . I gotta get down there sometime soon.
  4. Yeah, I see this quite a bit . Usually tagged on to the end of your typical spam mail. I dont really know anything about spam filters, but it might allow messages to get through. I mostly get these after I have been spending a great deal of time looking at porn. Anyone else?
  5. Is anyone looking to do the Hog Loppet this year?
  6. They found semen? If that's his true name, he's definitely the guy. No doubt about it.
  7. They always do, dont they ...and that alone makes s/he who spends money at a shop rather than on brew, a goddamn fool.
  8. Looks good. What is the distance/time related to your effort? You know what I mean.
  9. Thanks for the insight, Lowell . The paper bag is a great idea. As for the "cheat sheets", they most definitely inhance the glues longevity.

  12. ...no thanks....Ive got asthma. Yessssssss. Whoo. I didnt think you guys were gonna make it. That, my friends, was a rare display crack-mastery. Im truly impressed as well as delighted that you made it back without having your asses handed to you. Nice work gentlemen . Its tr's like that that inspire me drag my worthless ass out of bed in the morning .

    The Huggies?

Well that was excellent. Im pretty certain that I wont soon find myself in a situation where I will find that little tid bit useful. Oh wait, now I see the connection .
  14. Feel free to post some ski porn anytime fellas. Itll sting a little, but thats as close as were gonna get down here.
  15. Well now there's dirty "authentic", and then there's dirty Managua. I found just about anything tolerable, as long as the bed that I was sleeping in wasnt crawling with filth. Although I thought Bluefields was a very quaint and interesting place, it was probably the most unhealthy place I visited, and I spent quite a bit of time way out in the campo of north Nica. Little Corn was a bit cleaner in the gringo sense, most likely do to the increasing tourism. Most folks merely land on Big then take that notoriously rough boat ride you were talking about. It was all I could do to keep my lunch down. For those planning to stay awhile, most whities would find Little Corn quite a bit more comfortable than Big. I suppose that could all be calculated based on your general comfort with third world travel.
  16. Little Corn is nice. Good diving. Lot of Gringos, but still pretty culturally intact.

    The Huggies?

Definitely not emmaculate. The ascent that you can visualize below tl is a straight uphill slog through muddy runnels, roots and vines. Quite a mess, but worth it. As Im sure you can imagine, the descent is even worse.

    The Huggies?

If that's Concepcion (which I think it is) I bagged it two years ago . If its Maderas, Its all yours. Either way, if your interested in climbing one, the other or both, I can tell you where to find a guy that will draw you an amazingly detailed map of the route. Otherwise, you'll have to pay a guide to drag you up. BTW, they dont believe in switch-backs on Ometepe. They can be very environmentally unfriendly in those parts.
  19. In the event that you somehow missed the Nodder thread, you can find roughly half his posts there, along with half a million others.
  20. Nice TR deeber. Is there still mine traffic on the road keeping it somewhat clear? Sounds like there was minimal snow down low. I biked up in the fall which really cut the time significantly, particularly on the descent. Does it appear that it would still be possible to ride the road (if not the logging road as well), or is there too much
  21. Come on yall, Im tryin to keep it real. We can worry about the hut later, first things first. We can do dis.
  22. Man, save it. We aint gettin shit down roun heah.
  23. Howsbout an espresso stand up at Paradise? I often find that when I come down from Muir, at the end of the day, what I really need is a Latte ....and a butt rub Eh? Anyone else?
  24. Im mostly talking shit, however, I will be quick to report when and if I can find a demo pair. I would expect nothing less from my fellow cc'ers as well. For now, I'll be in the back, brushing up on my Paul Parker history so that I might avoid future ridicule from these tight asses.
  25. Thanks again for another answer to my rhetorical question.
