Dale Moon...where is that cat now? I assume he's still alive and well. He has certainly had his share of "adventures" on Hood as well.

Good to see you again Sobo. Look I'm no expert on relationships whatsoever, so I'm just speaking from my perspective. I've just been exposed lately to so many relationships (close friends of ours) that have dissolved. I am very well aware that many things happen behind closed doors, but it seemed liked in many of these cases, they began happy, but ultimately they seemed to start to really hate each other in the end. It seemed strange to me. That's all. I apologize CP, if this has completely missed anything resembling your situation. Sobo: Beers. Sooner than later!

I'm not sure how to answer your specific question CP, but my wife and I try and operate on the principle that if you both try each day to be nice, and go out of your way to do good things for each other, the dividends are endless. It's seems to have have worked well for 21 years so far, anyway.

Classic CC.com material here. I love you guys. sickie -
Some new information.

I saw your comments over on the KATU site, Sobo!

I've never seen it UNlocked. So, I usually drive back to Portland and use my personal potty box on my back deck, then drive back to Timberline.

Oh, I do. But discretion is the new normal. I'll see what I can get away with w/o getting myself in trouble.

Nothing like a good slow burn throughout the day. Great TR Sobo!

Not good. Anymore details than this?

I've been using Aksiums for the past 2 years for CCX and really like them. Still perfectly true after the thrashing I've given them. And for <$250 for a set, they're a great value too.

And a phone number, no less. Jim, cross post over here and you should get plenty of responses. Good luck on your climb!

I don't want to start a new thread with this question, but I have heard--and have since tried--drinking a glass of chocolate (skim) milk after a good workout as a recovery drink. Anyone else?

Sounds fascinating. Source?

Two climbers were killed in the Ruth Gorge over the last couple of days. Is that what he was referring to?
-
Yeah, because that's so much more important than the fact that Thomas Bennett died up there.

Seems there is a third option missing: Birds AND climbers--year round. If climbers are there is it guaranteed the birds won't nest? Is there no other option? They're a pretty hearty bunch, afterall. And there are A LOT of rocky cliffs in the gorge. Or is Beacon the only place Peregrines nest?

It wasn't Bug at all. By the way, I love his current avy. Fits perfectly, and excellent artwork. It was actually one , (1), did I mentioned ONE person (female) that didn't like coming to a climbing site and being threatened by the objectification of women? I get that...I guess. So, I prefer to play nice. My apologies for the drift, Darstog. -

Got it. Thanks! And Sobo, it's appropriate to stay properly dressed here. We do have a level of decorum.
