  1. great job you guys! Congrats!
  2. I ran for CV and mostly ran the 800m. My name is Brian Johnson. We worked together at Shamrock as well. It was many years ago when i climbed that thing; perhaps 10 years ago. i remember the route being very cruiser but yeah exiting out from under that triangular block was perhaps 5.7+ish. I went left but later read to go right. Lets get a climb in soon. Perhaps next summer we could connect?
  3. such a fun place and route! I enjoyed the variation as well. I believe I ran track against you Ezra back in the day.
  4. Nice job! I love that area. Gotta go back soon!
  5. Beauty!! Loved that climb.
  6. those pics of Temple are great! we climbed Dark Star last year and it definitely goes down as one of my favorites. The Sierras are fantastic. thanks for the TR.
  7. Nice work! This is definitely one of my all time favorite climbs. We climbed it two years ago around this time with MUCH less snow to deal with.
  8. We did Serp a couple weeks ago and from reading the recent description of an almost snow free Suck my Aasgard Pass, a lot of snow has melted. We did the route on a very windy and cold Monday. The route had a bit of snow up top but its gotta be gone by now. A fun route indeed. An axe would suffice. A short rope would be nice for the simul climbing. However, a longer rope makes the cleaner pitches nice. Have fun!
  9. We felt that the grade was soft for the entire climb. Biggest piece we brought was a 4 and although its not the ideal piece on the Bear Hug section, it works...
  10. I am posting this for a friend (Jamie) who is putting on this event in North Bend. Hope to see some of you there! Have you or someone you love been touched by cancer? Come on out to the North Bend Bar & Grill (145 E. North Bend Way, North Bend, WA) between 8am and midnight on Sunday, June 6th to support local North Bend hiker Jamie Rosen and the Breast Cancer Fund. Fill your belly before or after a good day’s climb and 10% of the proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Fund. Grab a few pints, dinner and play trivia from 7-9pm (21 and older). A raffle with great prizes will follow. Come in between 12-7pm to meet local hiking and climbing experts. Rosen is climbing 14,179 ft Mt. Shasta in Northern California with a team of 26 women and men, from across the country, touched by cancer as part of the Breast Cancer Fund's 2010 Climb Against the Odds. She climbs in honor of her father, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and future generations. Can't make the event at all? Please support her efforts at www.breastcancerfund.org/10climb/jamie
  11. Nice job guys!! I'm jealous!
  12. Esugi wrote up a nice trip report from a couple summers ago. One of his pics shows the secret passage. Maybe that'll help for next time.
  13. The road is gated anyways. Fun terrain to ride the mountain bike on though.
