Pity.
I enjoyed the dynamic in discourse here with you present. I admire your tenacity in argument in the face of being greatly out-numbered.
Also, that your values (Christian-based, presumably) have not acquired the depth necessary to allow you to continue to hang with the "sinners" as "he" did that the faith is based on.
Close!
I was the stand-in for Kate Hepburn in the Hollywood blockbuster "Rooster Cogburn". It was my part and she my stand-in until the director started sleeping with Spencer Tracy, then the bitch was given my part - I had to feed the hack all her lines from off camera.
Here's a still from the set. Of course, I'm center stage and you'll notice Big John is talking to me, not that talentless wench.
F#@k'n human race
I had a basement apartment where the windows were at normal height and the sidewalk outside was at the level of the bottom of the windows. One summer day, I heard a commotion outside and looked up to see a cat running for it's life past the windows with a big dog hot on it's heels. Within a minute, I heard the sound of a dog ky-yighing in fear and pain growing closer and I looked up through the same windows to see the same pair running back in the opposite direction from a moment before - with the cat, the nails of all four feet dug-in, riding upon the dog's back.
It was one of those moments where, although alone, you laugh your ass off.
The photo reminds me...
without fail, every dvd I view that has the World Trade Towers in the background, prompts a response of awe, usually verbal, that those huge buildings were brought down and a recollection of that morning when, it seems, the world started down a different path.
