    OMFG!

    I for one am shocked.
  6. I'll make a note of that. In other news, thumbs up on the Penfold's Koonunga Hill shiraz. Excellent bottle-polishing there.
  7. I polished off a bottle of shiraz earlier this evening myself...well, with help from a friend. A woman over 20, in fact.
  8. I like Christmas, and I'm not even Christian. I guess that makes me really well-adjusted.
  9. Definitely pick some peaks to build your skills on and to see what your endurance is like before trying Rainier. Bug's suggestion of Adams South Side is good. Hood too.
  10. some of you guys are taking fantastic pictures...makes me wish I owned a camera. really hard to choose the best of the "scenic" photos.
  11. when my junk get to pumpin in the club it's on
  12. Please tell me what is happening, just happened, or about to happen in this picture....never mind, I don't want to know.
  13. Man that sounds fun. I wish I could join you guys but I got a commitment already.

  15. you got some purty homework there, distel
  16. I've been rocking the handsome thug cap for years... 'cept mine's a too-black-too-strong number, not that sketch herringbone nonsense.
  17. whatever. The USPS sends me stuff all the time promoting the different options available to dm marketers. And opening a standard mail account is just about the easiest thing you can do as long as you've got $150 for the annual fee..."obtaining an indicia" is just putting your permit # etc in a box...as for the many rules of standard mail, that's what the mailing house is for....yes, you too can be a direct mail marketer!
  18. I'll ignore the obvious insult to my saintly mother to point out that tying your lady to the bed...IS AID!
  19. ...to sport would be as tedious as to work; But when they seldom come, they wished-for come, And nothing pleaseth but rare accidents. What a great weekend...here's to holidays.
  20. I think that square knot/double fisherman's sounds like the worst possible combination for getting hung up. The only thing I use the square knot for is joining the ends on a rope-backpack. Anyone here use it for anything technical?
  21. WA climbers ARE extra light. If you've got a WA climber belaying you, make sure to lash him down to your pack, ghetto blaster, yellow lab...whatever's handy.
  22. If you mean that there's some kind of secret collusion going on between USPS higher-ups and direct mailers, then no. It's totally out in the open. The USPS promotes direct mail marketing because it's probably their most profitable revenue stream.
  23. Story time! 15 years ago I was travelling on a greyhound bus from Minneapolis to Eugene. Somewhere near Butte a guy got on and sat a couple rows behind me. Over the next several hundred miles he provided the sole entertainment by telling everyone who would listen about how hot his girlfriend was, how great the sex was, etc. etc. After hours and hours of exhaustive detail on this subject, someone finally asked him "so where did you meet your girlfriend?" .... "At a family reunion!" Turns out she was his second cousin or something. Much hilarity ensued.
