  1. i think it's a bit more complicated than "buh bye". Some, including you, dismissed future Republican relevance back in '08 when obama won, declaring the party "dead". Then they came roaring back in 2010. Even Romney somehow managed nearly half the popular vote. After the defeat in '04 everyone was saying the Democrat Party was dead. Over and done. Kaput.
  2. Wow! The title and subtitle of that bio is a Double Entendre if I've ever seen one. It only could have been better if her last name were something like "Spreadwell"
  3. How much money do you think the county saved with this one action?
  4. NTTAWWT
  5. And Obama should not have accepted the resignation and.....we're off!!! and the media should not sensationalize these things ad nauseam
  6. And Obama should not have accepted the resignation
  7. Mostly true, but the public has to like the R candidate a lot more to turn a blind eye towards a policy they might not agree with.
  8. Naw, just Arnold's housekeeper
  9. That has to have been Kevbone's
  10. Good morning fuckwit. I see someone pissed in your cheerios again this morning. My best friend in elementary school was from Iran. His family was related to a rival ayatollah to the most infamous one and "disappeared". Suffice it to say that after the revolution they never went back to visit family. He is just one of many Iranians I have known - some preferring to be referred to as Persians, others not caring. It's impressive that you know that Iranians speak Farsi and not Arabic. Really, such an intellect you have. Of course a huge intellect is required to massage men all day for a living.
  11. But then we couldn't buy weed at Costco.
  12. Nobody's life deserves to be ruined for growing a few plants. There's so many more important things going on in the world.
  13. like all the other secret shit every administration, republican or democrat, is doing in our name, we only occasionally catch wind of it - our relationship w/ iran is so deeply poisoned, and plenty through our own foolishness, i've not the first clue how to go about fixing it... It's a pity 'cos I think Iran would be a way cool place to visit. Maybe someone could just off Ahmanutajob?
  14. Sandusky should be executed... by anal electrocution. A pot-grower? WTF.
  15. OK the title is misleading... this occurred before the election but we just are hearing about it now...
  16. Show me one average person (not in law enforcement) that cheers these busts and thinks they are a great idea.
  17. congratulations!
  18. The latter: political cannibalism, factional tribal war, young eating the old, witch hunts, persecutions, inquisitions, radio lynch mobs, WMDs (Weapons of Media Destruction), internecine trench warfare, and in the end a party way more fractured and divided than the country as a whole. Expect their media apparatus to turn inward on itself and get downright ugly. That, or you believe they're all going to change their stripes, methods, and machine overnight in a family-friendly, Disney-kumbaya, compromise-hugging scenario. If the latter I have a bridge over I-5 to sell you. Oly called for jerk-offs, and one appeared.
  19. It's all Bush's fault
  20. "While Jerry Sandusky got a 30-year minimum sentence for raping young boys, Mr. Williams is looking at a mandatory minimum of more than 80 years for marijuana charges and for possessing firearms during a drug-trafficking offense. " That about sums up how disgraceful and idiotic this is.

    Stroke me, stroke me, stroke!
  22. Amen. Another area where libertarians may find some common ground with the left is in their (typically) isolationist, or at least, non-interventionist bent. I'll concede that in the modern era the party most likely to start expensive wars is the Republican party, and they also seem to use that as a first resort to address any threat (e.g. Iran). wouldn't it be nice if say 15-20% of the republicans in congress were of a more isolationist/libertarian bent and voted to oppose new wars or continuing old ones indefinitely? Even with republican majorities, that could be enough to put the kabash on such policies. We need more diversity in our politicians not less, even if that means a few folks representing those views in congress or state legislatures.
  23. Not Beowulf again...
