  1. Because cancer is the EXACT SAME THING as the flu.
  2. As far as I know, Eurasian Eyes is because of his spouse, Pulse is because he lost feeling in his hands on the FA, and Driven was because it required so much effort to bump another letter grade. Rush to my knowledge had nothing to do with those three, but there may be others. Pulse is actually the Pink Floyd Division Bell live tour and the direct start to Division Bell. Losing feeling in the hands was probably secondary. As for the Rush route names what do Fly By Night, A Show of Hands, Permanent Waves and Caress of Steel (to name four JS routes) all have in common? those are all album titles although one was a live album
  3. I also saw them on Master of Puppets (opening for Ozzy I think) and the Black Album (I don't remember who opened). I wouldn't mind seeing them now at least for the bassist - the dude is really good.
  4. D'oh!!!
  5. Back on track. Some "cheesy" lyrics for you Vanya, and in honor of I 502: Our first stop is in Bogota To check the Colombian fields The natives smile and pass along A sample of their yield Sweet Jamaican pipe dreams Golden Acapulco nights Then Morocco, and the East, Fly by morning light We're on the train to Bangkok Aboard the Thailand Express We'll hit the stops along the way We only stop for the best Wreathed in smoke in Lebanon We burn the midnight oil The fragrance of Afghanistan Rewards a long day's toil Pulling into Katmandu Smoke rings fill the air Perfumed by a Nepal night The Express gets you there We're on the train to Bangkok Aboard the Thailand Express We'll hit the stops along the way We only stop for the best
  6. Right, because in general they are intelligent.
  7. Exactly, Vanya, exactly.
  8. One of the best shows I saw was Metallica on the Ride the Lightning Tour opening at Day on the Green in the Oakland Coliseum.
  9. right after receiving the chicken pox and flu vaccine, because those are deadlier than any cancer. And if I am healthy I should automatically take something that could hurt me 'cos that is the EXACT SAME THING as having cancer...
  10. In other words we're somewhat desperate for effective cancer treatments and leap on things which appear to have an effective risk/benefit ratio. That evaluation may or may not include testing in every possible age group, sex, race, etc. Sometimes we get it only partially right or entirely wrong - if you had an aggressive breast cancer how safe would you want the "medical establishment" to play it? Thin the herd!
  11. Just think if he had joined Metallica: [video:youtube]uS6gwp6SeXM
  12. I saw Primus once back around '92. Very talented guys, but that level of technical ability with a penchant for quirkiness is only listenable in moderate doses, from time to time.
  13. You are only just now starting to wonder about this? ;-)
  14. *** You are ignoring this user *** Toggle the display of this post Try all you want bitch tittie boy!!
  15. I'd rather drown in a bucket of snot.
  16. Possibly, however, even a broken clock is correct two times a day.
  17. YYZ La Villa Strangiato
  18. over some single malt?
  19. kind of like someone else we know...
  20. Dude, get some edjumacation before spouting: herd immunity. and of course you care more about a few nesting birds than humans.
  21. Let's hope he's using a conductive metal with no protective shielding to test those outlets.
  22. Rush is still a big arena band. People love them or hate them but I still love them. Geddy singing and Neil on drums is killer. The best concert I ever saw was Rush at the Gorge. They were heavy on stuff from Signals through Force Ten last night, and did about 2/3 of the new album. Pretty killer show (although the acoustics in the Key Arena is not so great)
  23. It's so cute how man-booby boy thinks I am interested in conversing with him/it.
  24. Key Arena, silly boy
