  1. It will be just like your online interweb persona where your fecal deposits pile almost as high as the Milky Way. Evidently, rob really like dung beetles.
  2. You can tell this is a serious piece of journalism. LOL the whole article reads like a bad facebook post. Written by Fox's token "liberal" -- you know, to make it balanced. Fuck knuckles You sure like to dehumanize people, rob.
  3. don't believe everything you see!
  4. Please. The range of "debate" in America has been so skewed towards gun ownership and gun lobby talking points for so long that when anything remotely sensible relative to standards in place elsewhere are brought in, they're bound to seem extreme. Considering the scope of the problem, it might help to "think outside the box". As far as common ground with NRA types goes, I'd love to see them put something that isn't insulting, offensive, or cravenly self-serving on the table. Sorry if you got dehumanized. how's the job going at In 'n Out? Slow day?
  5. well said!
  6. The hole is getting deeper. Your Mom's? ;-)
  7. At least acknowledge that there would be a huge time lag between regulation and effective implementation. With so many guns out there now (unregistered) that would be the de facto status quo for quite some time. So, yes you could regulate, but there would be a period where this regulation would be ineffective. sure, of course. All the more reason to get started! Also, we should consider regulation of ammunition. I suggest that to buy ammunition, you have to present a gun license. This will force unregistered guns to become registered. Good. And I would suggest that this is why you get a lot of the "it will not work" argument. It is true that it will not work immediately, ... and Americans really demand instant gratification in all things...

  9. And in addition set up extremely harsh penalties for possessing a gun illegally and using one in a crime. For a felony, say, life in prison with no possibility of parole, ever.
  10. It's time to abolish the Electoral College and go for popular vote. Period.
  11. GUYZ! I JUST SAW THIS BUMPER STICKER!!! SO FUNNY!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAH!!
  12. If the military can have M-60's, why can't I?
  13. The military is just a reflection of our society, no?
  14. Yep. 100% on point. You meet the standards or you are not in. Period.
  15. I'm saying that, minimally, it's stupid to ignore these problems and just truck along, making them potentially worse. Another poster asked if the problems are being addressed as well. We already have problems and they are not being handled properly, hey, let's make them worse and do nothing to fix them. The American way I suppose. Fatboy: you are on ignore just like ggk so bugger off
  16. they are on the rise, it affects deployments, and sexual assault is also a big problem are you suggesting none of these to be the case? and I love how you now, in this one case, "defer to the judgement of the Pentagon".
  17. RoR has had a few nasty security vulnerabilities recently too. And all around it blows more than Java, not as bad a Perl, but bad enough.
  18. Google it. It's not hard.
  19. I saw a documentary earlier this week about sexual assault of women in the military. They estimate it is as high as 50%. And it has been systematically covered up for decades. Does this mean they are also addressing that issue? And pregnancy has been a problem in the services for years. No, nothing to look at here, move along!
  20. What if you are fat but want a flu-shot? Is that OK?
  21. I gotta go back... and fasten my crampons more securely this time :-)
  22. I couldn't live without my gun.
