  2. I try to ignore mosquitos, but just can't do it. I swat them everytime they buzz around me. DEET can be effective, but damn it smells, and I'm not sure it's good to get a chemical like that on my expensive synthetic fabrics. To be totally serious, outside spray it's total bullshit when boner shits on another thread. "Who cares" is one of his typically bullshit (non)responses. I thought we (you and I) were on the same page about this. Teasing those guys who rappeled down Aasgard may be a little bit of blurring spray's flame aspect with non-spray, but Kevbone has no concept of the distinction yet alone an ability to moderate his stupidity outside of spray. I may do my share of shit-slinging on Spray, but I don't go around and shit on other people's non-spray threads.
  3. Whatever you say, Bug. Hey, why not pontificate here some more. You are so above the fray.

Kevbone seems to make plenty of rope here on spray...
  5. Chest beating, spray, trip reports.....all the same thing. Kevbone, dipshit, assclown..... all the same thing.

Pot and Kevbone. No surprise there.
  7. Has anyone climbed it (from bottom to top)? It looks jumbled up with possibly more objective hazard than the right line, but it also looks like a lot of fun. I'm curious what it's actually like.
  8. More pics: Alpenglow: Shannon leading the crux. I led a pitch a few feet to the right (off screen): Looking down the route (approx. midway): Negotiating crevasses on the upper glacier: Another view of the climbing route:
  9. did you and Joseph kiss and make up yet?
  10. The ski tracks looked relatively fresh. To whomever had the brass ones to ski that glacier in July - my hat's off to you!
  11. The technical ice pitch was just over 60 m long. You can pick whatever line you want: Shannon went for something a little harder, Cary and I each led 30 m of an easier line (we had a 30 m rope and simulclimbed the 2nd short pitch). So, that would be 10000 feet to 102000. You can pick lots of other lines up the glacier, of course. We swung left to crest onto the plateau. I found that part worse than the descent down the N. ridge.
  12. dude, I almost spewed coffee out of my nose.
  13. everyone participating in the discussion, obviously. stick to spray, boner.
