lol ….topos. Thanks Obama!

Same. I used/still use Gaia GPS for a long time but they were bought and now my photos no longer sync from my phone with the free version. I really like the typos on CalTopo, now my go to when researching an area.

He passed away in an accident when descending a route in the North Cascades. That is all I have, maybe someone else knows more.

Again, you will need a time machine.

Marmot 8000 Snow Suit, BD Firstlight Tent, Ice axe
olyclimber replied to Nate Boone's topic in The Yard Sale
Good morning, this suit was posted for sale like 14 years ago. Unless you have a time machine, this transaction is unlikely. -
Mountain Hardwear Absolute Zero Suit NEVER USED
olyclimber replied to Kerr Adams's topic in The Yard Sale
Good morning, this suit is probably well full of farts by now as it was posted for sale over 10 years ago. -
Last night I was researching an area on here and came across one of @SmilingWhiteKnuckles Trip reports. I always liked reading what he shared here. Made me think of other people who used the site taken by accidents over the years. Here to those taken too early.

My evil plan for engagement worked Puppy. Well the thing is with drones is depending on the environment you may not even notice them. Easiest way to detect them may be to search YouTube for your favorite wilderness area. Then , I guess, “who cares”, right. I get what you’re saying. It’s like if you get your car stolen, and you call the police and expect them to round up a posse and ride out three counties to find it. Instead they may not even send out an officer to talk to you, instead directing you to fill out an online form and that’s it. No man, this is the last straw. The only thing that separates as from the other animals. OVER THE LINE!!!!

Just about 10 years ago it was! -
Well it's a movie. They are the stars. We are just extras, NPCs. Its an epidemic of narcissism.

I've been looking for something to be angry about and I'm hanging my hat on this.
-
If you’ve seen Idiocracy you would see the flaw in this plan.

Looks fun @JasonG ! Cool pic of Vesper, had to zoom in to see those tracks.
-
Do they just lock the gate during the winter? From what I've read elsewhere the gate has been up, you just need a vehicle with clearance for the road.
-
Lets go hunt down that drone user and maybe he has some footie. Then we can smash the drone like violent animals.
-
If I was pissed off enough I would take their controller and huck it. But just sounds like a bummer when we are just trying to find some solitude/a challenge/a good time. And I talk tough but probably I don’t want to poison my time in the hills with a shitty interaction with some asshole. Modern life: what a joy.

Wow, what an adventure! And great pictures! That is so awesome you guys are getting those grants from the AAC and CalTopo. I've primarily been a Gaia GPS user since I have a ton of data in there, but came across CalTopo (I had used it a long time ago, but its way better now) a couple months ago and was super impressed with it and have been using it more. Thank you so much for sharing your story here, and congratulations on a great trip to an amazing place. -
