  1. maybe i have faulty memory or something, but i think much further back in the history of Mt. Baker there was a guy living up there for a long period of time. I remember reading about it...maybe someone else will remember what I'm talking about...
  2. lol. you mean like giving up on the levees? this could be political suicide Jay!
  3. oh yes! its just called sausage fest because it is normally held at a Sausage Place! Usually at least one girl shows up.
  4. my first thought (jay loves my one liners) is this: there are too many words there. pull the chain on your head and flush your mind. ordinary average workaday 'mericans can't understand your fancy book learnin.
  5. hobo stamp
  6. tramps are way cooler than princesses in my book. though i prefer to call them hobos.
  7. come to ropeup bridge creek groupsite this weekend. this is really good beer, as i'm sure you know. plus there are rocks to climb on and stuff.
  8. THIS IS NOT MY BEAUTIFUL HOUSE!
  9. i'm just hoping we can dispose of this properly.
  10. no. i just went. but i do have couple kegs of beer in my truck.
  11. well...i've heard of dudes with the stamp on their back....i believe it is still called a "tramp stamp" on a male.
  12. get her some decent hiking shoes too!
  13. Additional rules: No rearranging the campsite. 1. No moving the picnic tables 2. No moving the firerings. All this is basic common sense anyway! If someone one walks into the campsite looking for me, please either take a message if i'm not there, or lead them to me. Thanks!
  14. Unfortunately the camp host isn't available till tomorrow. However, here are some basic rules regarding parking: 0. No parking on vegetation! This is extremely important. 1. If you park in the group campsite, an easement or pathway MUST remain for an emergency vehicle to drive by to get to the campsite. This means NO blocking of the road into the campsite. If necessary, drive in and drop your camp gear off, then go move your car up to the main road shoulder above the campsite. DO NOT CAMP ON THE CAMPGROUND ROAD BY THE OTHER CAMPSITES (non Group camp). 2. There will be a limit as to the number of cars that can park at the actual campsite. We may ask you to move your car at some point. 3. Stephanie is a Forest Service person that will may be helping to sort out the parking situation. If she asks you to move your car or whatever, do it! 4. The camphost will probably be up checking things out. If he seems upset or wants things changed, then notify me please! 5. If you see anyone breaking the above rules, set them straight!
  15. was their refrig running?
  16. i can't seem to make a call to Leavenworth from seattle right now. anyone else have the same problem? all i'm getting is the busy signal trying to call a couple of different Forest Service numbers.
  17. Also important, I should be posting some details as to the parking situation. We need to fully cooperate with the camphosts parking requirements. I'll post them as soon as I get them.
  18. HAHHAHAHHAA FUNNY. Some things to bring: 1. Something to share for eating on Saturday night. 2. Stove and pot to boil some Costco polish sausages Sat. night 3. Can anyone bring a really long extension cord? Need to keep the generator out in the woods. 4. FIREWOOD! 5. If you have pictures you want to show of the Enchantments/Stuart, bring them. We'll have a laptop. I think Wayne might be showing his movies, and telemarker will be showing some pics. As time permits, we'll show other stuff. We'll start around dusk or so. Don't forget that Sol & Co. are showing tomorrow night. that will be a very cool show of new quality local climbing, don't miss it. 10pm tomorrow night.

  20. is this Emo Phillips brother?
  21. I picked up the dawgs...bring a pot to boil them in! seems like that is the tastiest way to prepare them. i also got buns, ketchup and mustard.
  22. I'll have costco dawgs like last year for Saturday night. Bring some food to share!
  23. this will work well for ropeup
  24. HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA!!!! no...that meat is clearly going to be paid for you dumbasses. Like you pay for roads and bridges stuff like that. Surely our nations health is considered "critical infrastructure" right? Or is it only people who can afford to pay for it that are "critical infrastructure". but then we haven't been doing a good job of taking care of the roads and bridges either, have we....
