That area is fun place to climb. Apollo Reed, beyond me but it was cool seeing people work that fucker. I miss the New sometime, fun climbing.

Well if there is one this summer when I am back I help out ofr the day, Simone not at the age to start climbing, but it would be good experience. And I can check out what there is for kiddie gear out there.

Yeah that would be more my style, better shock and fork, though still 32.5 lbs. It is easier to lose the weight on the bike than it is in my gut. So is that what you are riding on? If so what it ride like compared to others? It looks like a modified single pivot design, just wondering if the extra bar help with bob, which I am not sure if it will since it changes the direction of the travel to more vertical position, but what do I knoe.

Fucking stupid. All I have to say is fuck the government!

Here is Simone, future rock star showing me she know how to crimp. She got attitude to get herself up routes in the future and hopefully drag her old man up some difficult scary climbs. We are still waiting for her to walk so that she can start getting on her climbing pyramid that I will build for her. I think it should happen sometime this year. In the meantime she is happy spending Saturday afternoon splashing in the pool.

I keep trying to lose two or more from the belly, but damn beer taste good after a ride.

Yeah Snugtop, I don't think so, that beast is a tank without that much travel 33.5 with around 4 inches travel. I forgot about them though. thanks. Thanks Lambone, I forgot about the Turner line. I have always liked their work. Definitely have to look that one up.

Yeah that is a model I would like to ride, but I am sure the girl friend wouldn't appreciate her and it might be a little difficult getting her into a box for a 24 hour flight back to Rwanda.

Yeah, I am not in the picture.....I am usually a sufficient motor, considering I have passed motos going downhill. Even though I do that I am not allowed to buy a moto, I guess it is for the better, I get fat and create more opportunities to injure or kill myself. It will be a sad day parting with this rig.

When you Spesh, you mean Specialized right? I was looking at that one and pedal those around a little bit. The slack geometry makes them definitely good for descending. Sub 30's is what I am looking for and definitely not a hardtail, already got one that I never ride even on 100km rides I do out here. Thanks man.

Yeah that is good way to kill the thread. Women who climb are hot, why do you need a poll for that?

Pink, just return the damn draws, "sorry" is not going to cut it.

Right now I been riding on a Santa Cruz Bullit, the bike is awesome free-ride bike and pretty much takes anything I dish out to it. Now-a-days though I am not hitting hugh drops, north shore or dirt jumping so I am thinking I want a lighter bike, an all mountain, something that will be lighter than the 38lbs. I am currently pedaling. I still want it strong enough to handle the ocassional 5-6 foot drop and be able to take up small rock gardens. Got any suggestions???? Please note I am not looking for a cross country ride, but I also don't need the big rig that I have been pedaling up and down the hills around here. Right now I am thinking the Santa Cruz Blur LT. Anybody ridden this rig? Also looking at the Kona Dawg Supreme, anybody been on this one?

That is awesome, it goes to show if you got enough money you can make anything happen, even turn some anglo climbing bum into a 3 y.o. asian kid.

i guess that's why we (boarders) are always the last ones on the mountain at the end of the day i actually ride primarily with tele skiers That's because snowboarders spend half the day sitting on the slopes just over a blind hump, or immediately off the lift. You spent too much time resting and not enough time "riding" ummm not all of us sit on our asses! in fact i don't even sit to strap in! and am irritated by most snowboarders Knottygirl, don't listen to those ignoramus mofo's, obviously they have never riden with someone who doesn't fuckin' sit on their ass all day long or have ever tried snowboarding. Anybody that thinks it is easy is stupid. Yeah of course it is easy if you sit on your ass all day and don't take time to develop skill to hit the bc, bumps or rip the steeps. Hell if I never skied before and took up skiing and stayed on bunny slopes all day long, yeah I would think it is easy. Well duh, anything is easy if you don't push yourself. I might be a little defensive since I haven't gotten to ride for over two years now.

That ain't nothing. You definitely don't want to take up downhill mountain biking. In my expericience I have found that rocks and dirt are much harder than snow. Tree also are harder than snow, but you have an opportunity to hit trees in either of those sports.

I saw this: Lots of people A pink bar They saw this: A crazy muzungu riding through the villages 4 extremely wet muzungus freezing there ass off inside the pink bar.

He must not really like you if that is what he did to you.

Pretty well thought out, it seems to have almost everything you could think of, though it looks like it is lacking a little space for gear and beer. I am not sure if I would want a roof rack over the solar panel so that means a rear mount ski/bike rack. I am curious how the stove shelving unit would work in real life, with the way they drop down. Also the screen thing that closes off the awning is really cool idea, but in this video make it seem to take up no space. I really like the idea of the passenger seat turing into stairs, in reality I wonder how confortable that chair is and how well it will hold up. Built in laptop is cool, but with most people already owning one it might be better to have a platform/docking station. Then there is Kurts concerns, what is there when there is no sun? I guess one of the better things it has going for it is if it make you guys want to just hang out in the van, then that means more available routes, shorter lift lines and less people out on the trail = more fun for me.

My poisons of late has been Talisker and Happy Smokes (as we call them here, a special brand of cigarettes that the rastafarians package here). The other day though the Mojitos were quite nice.

Hopefully they are out of the business of making crap. Never have never will own one.

I look at that picture and I am not thinking what to do, but how to prepare it.

Well no shit......really? Science 101 (it is not really rocket science) Normal scientific process is observation (damn it seem hotter out here), questioning (why is it hotter out here?), developing a theory (a belief, I believe changes in our atmosphere caused by humans is causing the increase of temperature) and test that theory (go out and take measurement CO2 gas levels, ozone, temps, human consumption, ect). I don't know how someones personal beliefs end up in the data. Data is pretty concrete usually those measurements that will explain and/or test your theory. Now in the summarizing the data then there is a little more freedom, maybe you didn't see what you expected, which usually leads to more questioning more therory more testing. Science is never concrete and is always evolving, we are gaining new insight through trial and error all the time. From what I understand from you is, that since it is not concete we should disregard it until it is. That is fucking stupid. Currently there is a lot of evidence supporting global warming and yeah we might be in cycle or periodic warming trend and we might eventually figure that out, but isn't better to be safe than sorry. Anyways so far the things that have been suggested to improve the global warming situation are pretty good, I think, I wouldn't mind more forrest on this planet, less pollution out put from industry and individual, how can these things be bad? Finally, I would like to know what your interpetation of "real science" is?

I am not sure if I would classify myself as a nerd, but I couldn't help see what would be really exciting to a nerd, so I looked. Cool shit. I would much rather be working that way, even though most of my work is with documents and spreadsheets.
