  1. That would be a great freaking link-up. Madam G is a single pitch is a blast, as far I am concerned it is the only way to do that route. Ejoy the free hanging rap in that too, it is as good as the one off of Monkey Face in Smith. The Near Trapps list is a good one too but doesn't offer as much variety. From what I remember those routes start with 200-300 feet of each other so it is quite manageable, especially with the 5 minute approach, but I think the have changed the parking arrangement so it might be 10 minutes.
  2. Who wants here about how many times a day you are whacking off because you can't get laid. I rather hear from sexy women, no offense.
  3. says the man who has joint jerkoff sessions with his gf, dwayner, to a life size poster of richard simmons... Bahhaaha!!! Fuckin A that is the funniest. Now I got to clean the coffee I sprayed all over my monitor.
  4. Well I am back work , but I know what I need to do next is find that thread
  5. I find the use of muzungu rude and generally regard most people as rude. Some cases it not others cases it is blantantly rude (shouting in an obnoxious voice).
  6. That what I was suppose to be doing, then my plans got fucked. Hopefully doing a weekday soon, next week or the one after.
  7. Muzungu = Whitey Didn't hear it too many times tonight, um only 70 times.
  8. These days no cubicle, fuck I guess that is one good thing about my jorb.
  9. Well just logged on it is a 11:30 at night, a freaking 10 minute process well it is 11:40, gotta love dial up in Africa. Anyways just got back from a 60km mountain bike ride where did a 400m climb, followed by several other smaller hills outside of Kigali. It was a perfect night out cool temps, powerful moonlight, not too many people, the normal military troop or two, drunks trying to find there way home, people just out for a walk. We had left at 8pm after doing our fatherly duties (getting our children fed and ready for bed) while our sig others were out for a jog. I was lucky tonight since I was at Ludwig's house, Misti took Simone home so I ended up chilling before going out. I been riding a bit at night out here which is a blast, but this ride was so cool because most of the ride we could do without our lights. When we did light 'em up on the technical sections the batteries would be fresh and the light bright. Out here in Rwanda, almost every ride I do I hit new trails, tonight wasn't the exception we found a great little single track downhill that was fast, turny and with enough loose shit with trees around to make you pucker a bit as you come sliding around a turn. We also got on a bit of flat technical, it's great. Basically clay elevated skinnies, with stairs, roll ins, mini gaps to wheelie hop or do what I do wheelie front wheel and hop the rear. The ocassional spectator would just exclaim, "eh eh eh ehhh!" We also had a few scares, one in particular with this military guy acting all strange and freaked. It didn't help that he had machine gun and we just got done getting stoned. Luckily his partner realize we were a couple of crazy muzungu's out for a night ride. So to make a long story short, I guess what I am doing right now is typing this shit.......time to get some chow I am starving.
  10. South Arete - SEWS Da Toof South Face - Ingalls N. No I'm not joking!

It was funny when I was back in Seattle last year for my first time back in 2. Within two year everybody was walking around with those stupid things. Please, if anybody ever sees me wearing one of them things, please shoot me. Thanks.
  12. Have fun soloing. I myself prefer having a partner.
  13. the best place to get a riding crop is the tack store. Babes in Toyland has a good selection crops and other fun items.
  14. There have been some real doozy's this year. I watched a guy place five pieces in fifty feet that all fell out, and this was about three weeks after a guy decked from about 60 feet up on a 5.9, pulling all his gear out with him. As the winner of the luckiest guy in the Gunks award for 2007, he landed on his packs and suffered no injuries. The store is Rock and Snow. They've got absolutely fantastic staff. They all really know their stuff and I think they're probably the ideal store for gear knowledge and local conditions. They've got one of the largest selections of clean climbing hardware I've ever seen, and they are intimately familiar with the pros and cons of every piece. Yeah I always liked going into that store. Thanks for correcting me. My craziest memory climbing down there was, when I was taking a newbie on a first time climb. I believe it was on Three Pines, not that it matter, but there was rap station almost at the top on the GT that see a lot of traffic from other climbs. Anyways this moron has his belayer clipped right into the rap ring so none of the other parties (3 parties) could rap. Mean while he has gone up and climbed an easy corner, places a high piece and lowers to a big roof edge. He is all dressed in black hanging on the rope on the edge of the roof and then calls out to his belayer to get a picture of him mock climbing this roof, he also yelling at him to make sure he doesn't rope in the picture. He want to go for the solo look, I guess. Fuckin' unbelieveable, we all stood there on the ledge flabbergasted. Oh yeah for climbs in the 5.9 range some of my favorites are Modern Times 5.8++, Directissma 5.9 (a stouter variation to High E), Bonnie's Roof 5.8, CCK direct 5.9 are few that I can think of off the top of my head.
  15. Awesome, thanks that is a great link to have. I can't wait to outfit the little one, once she is not so little.
  16. Definitely agree with crackers, that is good place to hook up with people, though some are hesitant, for the same reason I have always been whenever whoring myself there, y'never know what you get. With close proximity to NYC, you get all kinds, I have seen some pretty weird shit there. EMS-Eastern Mountain Sports has a guiding service down there, I had few friends who guided there. It has been so long since I have been there that I can't remember any of the other guide services. Rock & Ice (the shop in town not the magazine) would probably have a list of guide services if they do not offer guiding from there. Last time I was there I don't think they had a guide service set up.
  17. So when do you get out of the hospital and how could you ever forget a safeword?????
  18. Bowl of chili doesn't count on a beer drinking night, jeezs, silly girl.
  19. Hmmm, I guess I missed the S&M thread about how you recieved all of these bruises. They don't look too bad maybe the same as a good spanking, but they are in odd places for spankings.
  20. No porters or stouts if you got to bake them, Rather than leaving them in the car hide them in the woods, they'll taste ice cold compared to leaving them in the oven. PBR is probably first choice great for rehydrating.
  21. For me I would say in the end it is your call though, personally I think the route should stay as it is for reasons stated above.
  22. What the hell is going on here I think I agree with Raindawg. This is weird.
  23. Yeah time to break out the weak sauce, since the early birds can't handle having a drink by themselves while waiting for others to show.
  24. I remeber hearing about RMI bagging their clients, I personally have always thought it was a bad practice, especially over a several hour period. If I was ever to hire a guide (which I doubt would ever happen), I would expect them to do what I hire them for, that is guide, not leave me out in the open to wait.
