Anyone want to go pull on plastic tonight - I can hit VW or SG . . . my partner bailed and I have to climb SOMETHING! B
-
San Diego for a reunion with some old friends (who don't climb). Anyone want to hit Joshua tree the day after to burn off that Turkey? B
-
I'm planning a day trip Sunday too . . . No real details yet. B
-
Wish I could - stupid job needs me to stay local. :::sigh:::::
-
There ya were right under my nose! I though I'd run into people while climbing to get the info on where people were chillin' later - but that didn't happen. Had a great time anyway - in fact I am already looking to next weekend
-
I had a blast although somehow I missed syncing up with the CC.com crowd - I did witness the clarinet though! Next time I definitely need to leave earlier, stay longer and climb more - that place rocks! Thanks to Chris and Matt for being my rope guns! B
-
Whaaaaaaaaa? What happened? I'm packing now . . .
-
Hey - If anyone could pass along directions to the Grasslands that would be tres cool! I'll be there to climb and chill on Saturday! B
-
Sounds like a good time - so now I will just need to work out the details. I am really psyched to check it out!!! Yee ha!
-
My partner's bailed for the weekend - actually they just postponed our Smith trip. The weather looks SWEET for this weekend though. I'm tempted . . . Anyone else looking for a partner? I've never been to Smith but have been leading 9's (sport) and 10's around here. . .I can belay up to 5.14 though
-
Matt - you weren't supposed to tell! It feels good to be real. B
-
Gee, now I feel left out . . .
-
Not sure if I am a "lurker" - but I did have a blast climbing with new people and gathering under the full moon. Was it raining - funny, I didn't notice B
-
Seriously - is it worth going if it rains? I've only been up there once so really have no perspective.

Most of the people I am meeting down there (from the East Coast) are arriving 12/26 or 12/27. I can go down on the 24th and stay through 1/4. Still looking at flights and all. Ever been?
-
Hey - if that doesn't pan out I will be down at Potrero Chico. Working out the details now. B
-
Cool! Any why yes, I am blatantly trying to expand my climbing group I've climbed at the River View Wall and the River Park Wall - does that classify as "lower rivers" Ooooops, am I taking over the thread?
-
Meeting some folk down at Vantage - the Feather's at 10:00 am. Should be a range of levels, but I am still looking for a rope-gun Any suggestions for best routes (I lead most 5.9's and starting to lead 10's - depends if I have an experienced belayer).
-
I was actually at the Feathers yesterday - easy climbing, perfect weather and great company ;-) Next time we'll be leading 9's and 10's though
-
I'll be down there with some friends . . . still negotiating arrival times and all that jazz. Any recommendations about bands to catch? B

I've lived from Maine to Florida - travel somewhere new as much as possible - settled in Boston for a while - moved out here in last spring. The PNW is awesome . . .then again, the world is an amazing place. I think Adventure is on the right track though - explore, experience, figure out what you want and go for it. Know that what you want can change though - and there is much out there to see and experience.

I believed you, CG33...but I was one of the few. it's good to see you coming back around after such a 'hearty' welcome. Ahhhhhhhhh you believed I was real because you are a thinker and had a little pre-move Craig's list insite. I haven't met too many CC.comers yet (or if I have, I didn't know it) - but I did make my first appearance at Pub Club last night. Baby steps . . .
-
Hey Nicole - No one believed I was real either . . . in fact my post got moved to "Spray" - geesh. BUT - being a "corporate monkey" during the week - I climb at the gym a during the week (especially now that it's getting dark earlier) and outside on weekends. If you want to meet up at VW or Stone Gardens some weeknight just give a shout. B
