You hosers like to lecture Americans, but from what I've seen, your environment is getting a good trashing. Too bad the average Canadian has almost NO voice in govt. policies. A lot of Frenchies up there....might explain the arrogance. I have a friend that had the same surgery, ACL, dune in a mounth, from discuvery to recuvery... one poor mother fucker if I mite addd... FUck Frechies thats what I'd like to say... sure four years more of edjucation, and walk off the street and into the hospital... is it because you're fucking stupid...is that why your government pays for your stupidity... I saw more drunks, and more homeless people while I was in your country than I did in a week here in Oregon... I resently spent some time in nevada and can't say the same for them... I say a ton of both... But us americans look at states the same way you look at providences... Like europe looks at counrties... If you ask me we're alll fucked up... Don't get me wrong there are plenty of stupid and fuck up homeless, drunks in Oregon, but come on people this is a problem all over the world...

I prefer the "climbing" on the sketchy rock conditions, of the more ridged volcanos... but even though its just a difficult hike to the top of the others, does not mean you don't climb them does it? I still think that if you raise, lets say 2200ft or more in elevation, after traveling, lets say 1.8 ml., then it's climbing... a ratio of 2200/1.8 or more I would consider climbing...

Yeh, Yeh, Yeh... I was just in Whistler, and had to find a reason to through in Cheers and Ahe some where... fuck I had it And didn't even know it...

True that muff, but if you've ever landed at the air port in Palm Srpings, on your way up to Jtree, and seen the fog come through the valley from LA, ... to see the wall of dark orange fog roll out into the desert... so thick infact that cars on the freeway have to turn on the headlights, and the sky gets dark and you can't tell what time it is because it apears to be an early sun set... it is one of the growsest things i've ever seen... makes me proud to live in the north west, and not in sothern Cali...

depends what you are looking for on the city streets!!!1 set myself up there didn't I ? oops I just ment breathing cleand air beats the hell out of smog. And I would rather look at trees and rocks than people and houses What smog???; and Eugenes got more trees, and old trees to boot, than most other cities/towns I've ever been to... Do we even live in the same town? But really, on to subject, you can hike to the top of dimond peak, but most would claim to climb it... hands? how could you use your hand on that one? I think it is a matter of elvation/distance... if you travel a short distance, but gain a lot of elevation, your climbing the terain...

and then I was like... so mr. COl. VP the discution wasn't just about moving from the gym to the sport, especialy our discution... just becase you don't climb any thig before someone better sets up a route for you first, doesn't mean you have to change the subject of our convers... I outy...

Snoop Dwooog... Yeh, Yeh...

I'm just sayin' that some one will be a hole lot more knowledgable when trying some thing out of their range, if they spend the time to trust, and place some protection... Lets say your sporting a harder multi-pitch, if the person who set up the route was better than you (wich is most likly), than the bolts might be to far apart for your comfort zone... mentaly and extra placed piece would help, but if you can't place one with confidence, than you might waist preshish energy on an area that didn't require it... thats all... I'm not calling sports less of climbers...
-
Not true I realalize that there are great sport climbers who don't ever place gear but I'm just bi-assed... I think you will become a better climber if you place gear along the way and fall on it... It make you trust yourself and you ablities a lot more... keeps me from doing any thing stupid... well maybe not any thing...
-
Hell no... well maybe... At least if we new we wouldn't be stuck at work while the big one hit... and those of us that are spiretualy inclined can meditate to get ready for the next chapter... must just be that little butist deep down talkin' but I think it would a great oppertunity to let go of everything that we have ever feared... I mean fuck it we're all dead anyways...
-
I'll just let mine run loose...
-
If you don't know how to place gear properly than you shouldn't be leading anything... even if it is only cliping bolts... THblblblblblblblblblb
