  1. uhhhh I don't know how much you guys boulder but spotters will definitely help. Pads depending on how many they have. If they have 2 or 3 on top of one another then it will protect from shattered ankles. Spotters will protect from him rolling down the chossy hill, since it is straight up he'll be pitching pretty vertical. I've taken some falls from about 18' and pads definitely help. I think that problem is Black Magiv V5???? is that correct PP?
  2. thrutch I was responding to climberchica. who said all she sees are fat people in prana and she has prana. It was a jest in her wording. are we through? I lead 5.7
  3. HF is much softer and stickier. It does indeed wear off a bit quicker, but it still takes 4-5 days a week for 9 months to go through the toe. You know how C4 gets that sort of glassy look after a couple of months? Mainly I've seen this on moccasymms, not ansazi laceups or velcros. HF never gets like that. Since its so soft as well you can REALLY feel the rock. You can put your foot on a little granite crystal and feel that suckah. I think right now the only shoes offered with HF are Dragons (discontinued but can still get them from 5.10), V10s (these shoes are the shit for steep sport and bouldering), and T-Rocks (lace up shoe, liked mine a lot but they ripped so 5.10 is sending me a pair of Anasazi Lace ups). This 5.10 promotion has been brought to you by RuMr and Distel Co. Rudy thinks the ansazi lace up is the best shoe ever made.
  4. I think you just called yourself fat......
  5. thats crazy! I can't imagine climbing a 14c into a 10 move v13/14
  6. Govt Mule does have some rockin' shit! My vote is for the pedal steel slide guitar, played by Robert Randolph, song: Uncle Ted's Jam. it really doesn't get any better
  7. buy some 5.10s that have stealth HF, not c4. Trust me you will never regret this decision.

  17. yeah I looked through that bouldering issue and it sucked balls. Katie Bishop is hot though, ask Wirlwind and Pandora, we met her in Joe's. JT also called Joe's "Roadside Choss" and made up a bunch of shit about soill and said it was mossy and shitty. what a loser.

  22. LCC has some of the best granite bouldering in the nation. Trad and sport in big and little as well. check out Utahclimbers.com Most of the people on the site are from SLC, but there are different forums for each area. Talk to Shaft and Jun, both very nice guys and they can give you all the beta.
