  1. it isn't v6. I told you it was v4. The guide says 3, but its a 4. Not even close to a 6.
  2. mine is me in my weekend attire. All bouldery-superman and shit.
  3. exactly. Paul is a major exception. Especially because he was talking trash about bouldering while he was at swiftwater bouldering. I just found that to be lame.
  4. haha, you were there biatch!!! Alpinfox also did numerous v3's and MisterE did a cool FA on a v2ish arete. We watched Cracked flail on the v1s.....so sad.....
  5. TRAINING for climbing. Climbing outdoors is climbing, have you ever heard of this thing called rain it sometimes does over on the west side of the mountains....?

I post on boldering.com not much talk about bouldering, but the Weekly Favorite Bouldering Picture thread is just bouldering pictures from all over the world and is always good to look at.

  10. hey man, I have the endurance for that route! I just can't sit on the horn quite right. I haven't been on it since Novemeber, and I feel much stronger now. So we'll see next time I make it down. Can't make it down this weekend Paco, already got some plans. Have fun on the tuft! Send Zebra Seam already!

  14. just for Rumr smithay sport
  15. I don't want "mad props", I don't send hard problems.
  16. yeah I understand what you're saying. but I still believe it is a legit form of climbing. Would running laps on 5.7 also not be considered practicing for climbing? Still climbing though. I love sportclimbing as well, and bouldering is just as much climbing as sport climbing is. I don't think everybody should love bouldering by any means, but I think people need to recognize it as climbing and respect what people are doing in the ropeless realm.
  17. why thank you. By and large my pictures aren't that good, but I do think I have a few that could be sold, that being one of them. Cracked- You need to accept that bouldering is real climbing too. Even if you don't like it because you're chunky, it is still climbing big guy.

  19. What type of climbing do you mostly do Addie?? I've heard great things about the mythos for trad and alpine, and negative things if you climb a bunch of sport. I would go for anasazi velcros, best all around shoe ever.
  20. I love bouldering...... ALL UP IN YOUR FACE BIATCH! CRIMPIN+++
  21. there are. Normally in a book it will have a little skull or a "fluttering heart" Highballs get the little cute heart, skulls are X ratings pretty much. Problems where you need at least 3+ pads plus spotters. For instance Evilution gets an X rating or a solo rating. Problems like High Plains Drifter or Golden Shower both pictured above get an R type rating just because they are high.
  22. werd thanks
  23. oohhhh oohhhh meeee meeee! how hard would I fall if I jumped off this: approximately 40ft high, I weigh 148. best boulder problem ever!
  24. werd, I'd say its about 21ft or so. give or take a foot.
