I don't know much about them either, but her concern is more with just being involved with a group protecting civil rights - they've taken a bit of a beating lately, it does seem...

A place to reminisce about the project or awesome trip. The hidden cliff that you haven't told anyone about, or amazing peak. Maybe a frozen fall back in January... The best I felt this last year was getting through the roof on Iron Horse at Index, munging in the dihedral for a bit... I hadn't been on it for 4 years, and never got through the roof before. Hah! The old man's still got it! WooHoo!

I don't think I am the first person to use this site as a resource for information from like-minded folks... and to answer your question, Greg, my wife is interested in volunteering.

I also got introduced to the wonderful world of MP3 this Christmas. I have been transferring all my music collection to this Jukebox the size of a stack of 2 swisher sweet boxes. It holds like 300 c.d.'s or something. Amazing!

Never had one, but always thought the Pathfinders were pretty good rigs, late year n' all - not quite SUV ?? But maybe too "trucky" ? Whew! Glad Christmas is done!

So what kind of cool gear or gaper stuff did folks end up with? I got a soloist device. I've used it once before, but still don't trust it without the old back - up knot, and I feel a WAY lot safer with the gri-gri and a back-up knot for solo stuff... hmmm...should I trade it in?

Anyone familiar or have any information about the local chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union? The website seems like a lot of the content is not current stuff, and we were wondering how active the group was here in Seattle.

That's what all my receipts say - you know, the ones that have a big tip, and you don't remember signing?

What a great interview! If you are interested more in what this Great Man is about, Pat Ament's "Master of Rock" is an excellent read, but it was out of print when I got my copy. One of the scariest moments of my life was "almost" commiting to the knob on The needle - 15 feet out, 5.12, pad looking small, and 15 more feet to go. Yikes! And that was without the guardrail...

The resultant child will be an amazing climber, though...

Does anyone think that this will raise even a little ire in Ol' Miss? Those Dixiecrats are a pretty tight bunch!

Sounds similar to the old Alaska Laws - those northern folks seem to know how to keep the folks mellow in those long winters, it would seem. Not that the new laws have changed Alaskans much...

Gee. I onsighted crack of doom at city of rocks... you mean that kind of climbing?

The next Clinton should be George Clinton, CC!

Good one, Trask. heh-heh-heh...

yeah, but you have to be old enough to get a REGULAR driver's license, so that could be a problem, at least judging by the spray...

Fear releases adrenalin, and many climbers are adrenalin junkies (among other things), so doesn't that equate to addiction to fear?
