I don't like recreational snowmobilers. Loud, obnoxious, smelly, etc. I hate skinning for three hours and still being able to hear them.
When used as transportation, I have no problem with them. Same goes for dirt bikes, ATVs, etc.
Wow, you must be a climbing God! May I lick your boots?
Ever heard of the Huber brothers? They were climbing 5.13 cracks within their second day of trad climbing. Same with Sharma. He onsighted 13b on the Rostrum. Sounds like you're just grumpy cause they climb harder than you, trad or sport. Keep feeling superior, but you still suck.
The boots are extremely soft without the crampon attached. You wouldn't want to use it with other crampons unless it's a snow slog. Also, getting the crampon on requires sliding the boot tab into the slot on the crampon, so it'll take longer than normal crampons. I wouldn't buy it.
I'm curious as to what AT gear you are referring to. Obivously light Dynafit boots and bindings on something like the Tua Helium are not going to give the performance of alpine boards, Freerides, and huge, burly AT boots. So are you referring to light AT gear, or burly AT gear? Or am I just stupid?
