i had the pleasure of jon and gaper chase coming down from seattle this weekend to ride the freshiez with me. coming of the epic wednesday, it was hard to match the fine turns that were made, but it was great to get out with those wankers and make some turns. friday the snow was ok, but the visibility ate nuts. yesterday was perfect, but a tad too crowded for my likes. all in all, a good time was had by all, today brought another blue bird, but unfortunately not any new snow to go along with it.

it was my birthday this past wednesday but unfortunately my presents only consisted of gear. perhaps i might have to slate that one for christmas time, until then, the britney spears outfit will have to do

you only do the true marathon if you throw broken top and finish on bachy with a ski descent . imho

good times were had by all on bachy today. amazingly summit was open this morning, so my buddy and i reaped the freshies on the cows face all morning long. visibility was poor at first, but then the sun made a showing and some great turns were to be had. mmmm freshiez.

i'm an freshie fiendin machine, it has yet to stop snowing today, it is frickin great out there, finally. Here is the forecast for the central oregon chosscades: Temps hovering just ~ 25: Mon 1-3'' Tud 1-2'' Wed 3-6'' A cold, unstable air mass will move across the area today bringing snow showers. Another system will move across the area Monday night and early Tuesday, then another on Wednesday. The one on Wednesday looks more significant and will play this one up. Thursday is my day off, if anybody is in the area and wants to ride, lemme know. -gaper

bout 6'' and still falling i purposely "broke" some network equipment at the upper lodge so i had a business need to ride pine before opening. nothing is more magical than having the slopes to yourself and slashin a track down untainted, un gaper crowded slopes indeed, i was the lone gaper.

good question. when you submit something to it, it dumps it into a queue, and then jon or myself needs to go in and approve it before it gets posted. so the only way it will get abused is by people submitting odd stuff, like Trish_Fox submitted a post of hers that said exactly.
