it was great to meet all of you and to see the magic of pube club in person. needless to say, i was fehkin way hung over on the drive up to crystal yesterday. if anybody is bored and on the east side tonight, we'll be drinking at the tap house around 8ish. its near hooters, trask.

my buddy bob and i were at crystal today, and had just gotten on campbell chair as someone came skiing up to the liftie about the person he had just found who wasn't breathing... all he said was, there is a guy over there in the tree well (pointing up to the bowl) who isn't breathing. talk about a helpless feeling. some others on the chair yelled down to a patroller who was chatting with some skiers, and he went looking in the trees at the bottom of the bowl, talk about a buzz kill. scary shit though. on one of our final runs, we we're in green valley and bobo and i split up, and he too fell into a well after his bindings popped, luckily he was under the chair so someone pulled him out, he said it was just like quicksand and he couldn't even get purchase with his boots on the inside of the well. the skiing was wonderful, just tragic to see the events unfold mere feet away from where you are making turns.

the main reason i'm getting to go at all is i have to check out the ticketing system at our parent resort (PC) in action and report back to the higher ups, so i'm kind of tied to going to PC.

gapertimmy gets to act all high society and shit. the boss comes into my office yesterday and asks me if i want to go to a RESORT AUTOMATION CONFERENCE.... i'm thinking free booze, free skiing, and bling bling. holding back my excitement i said "sure". anyhow, so the thing is at Beaver Creek. Never been to CO before but the trail map of the resort doesn't look like anything exciting. If a guy were to skip out for one day, which lift serviced resort would be the one to ride at? regardless, i somehow managed to convince him that i should stop in slc on the way home so i get to "tour" the resort automation at PCity. Life is good.

I know this is a huge long shot, but i'll be flying into SLC late April 4th, around 9:30pm, and am looking for a place to crash for the night. Or could anyone reccomend a cheap hotel, and ways to get up to Park City, shuttle's whatever. any help would be preciated.
