We are all taken from time to time. The more we are taken , the more cautious we become. Some even become too cautious. If we didn't learn anything, life would be pretty boring, wouldn't it? You've made some pretty interesting conversation for us today. Thanks.

Why don't you spend all of this energy you are using on finding good evidence to back you instead of defending this marginal evidence. If your evidence doesn't hold up against skeptics then its no good, even if it is true. It must ALWAYS hold up.

I am pretty open to conspiracy theories etc... If there is a lot of good solid evidence I'll kick the thoughts around in my head. The video was very convincing if you watch it and don't follow up on the facts. However, there are pictures of the tail of the plane crashing into the side of the Pentagon. There are pictures of marks on the ground where the plane skidded into the building. A Boeing 757 isn't that big of a plane compared to other jumbo jets. Jets like this also arn't the most solid things in the world. Remember how easily the roof peeled off that Hawaii Air plane a while back? However, even when light metal is projected by exploding fuel it can penatrate stone walls. This does not mean either that the metal would be shot in all directions. There are many factors than determine which way the energy is distributed upon impact. There is momentum from the plane (pretty simple) and momentum from the explosion (complicated). Also the different layers of the building complicates things further. All the pictures suggest an object the size of a Boeing 757. The pentagon is a BIG building and a boeing 757 would look smaller than you think sitting right next to it. As far as airplane parts, there were lots of parts found. There are engine turbines and scrap metal strewn about the premise. As far as video goes, no one was looking for this to happen. How many people right now have their video camera pointed at the Pentagon? As far as the FBI stealing the video, where is the proof of this? Anyone could have made up that story. Rumors fly fast. Even if they did take, so what? It is their. I'm sure they know where every security camera in DC is and use them to their advantage. Wouldn't you? If there was any solid evidence to support this theory, I would be all over it. It would be very interesting. However, I don't see any. You can't prove there are red fish in the water if you only have evidence of yellow ones.

Dude! My ex-girlfriend was working in DC close by and saw it happen. It was a plane!

I've spent winter nites in the Cascades in my 20 degree sub kilo. I was ok. One not was a little chilly, but not freezing. It had more to do with the sleeping pad I was using. I would feel more than comfortable knowing I had a zero degree sub-kilo with me any time of the year in the Cascades.

I've heard of a few recent accidents where the helmets has shattered into pieces. Does anyone know if these were particular brands or materials? Has this always been this common? Better your helmet than head I guess.

Where do you find these mature people? Most people are emotional mess-ups and you don't find out until its too late. I agree with the premise though.

My ex-girlfriend was there and saw it happen. It was indeed an alien missle! No really, she saw a plane fools. Of all things! You know, the Freemasons=someparts believable, Atlantis=maybe sometruth in ancient stories, but this! JFK= hmmmmm, maybe...Come on! your smarter than that.

You can bang out the whole climb in 10-12 hours if you want. Then go climb something else. We got up and down before we puked. We just felt a little weezy at the top then fine after we started going back down. We left the car around 1 am and got back around noon, then drove to Lassen, then Tahoe, same day. We weren't in really good shape then either. We didn't feel rushed at all. Took a couple good breaks and enjoyed everything around us. But, if you want to huff all that gear up there, I guess you'll have more time on that beautiful mountain. Nothing wrong with that! Gear=tennis shoes, ice axe, crampons, water, jacket, hat, gloves, headlamp, first aid and candybars. That was in June. In May I'd wear boots and gaitors and bring another layer of clothing.

North Cascades Highway if it's open and if the weathers clear. Baker ski area is good too.

It would probably cost more than a caribiner to ship a carabiner to Poland. -
"What Lies Above" It's playing again on Lifetime on November 20th at 5 pm. Starring: Marc Singer (original Beastmaster") Some blonde (Nicole Egger) that looked like she just came off a Baywatch set. Filmed in Sqaumish It was funny how they walk around a corner from the Upper Malamute and end up instantly at Chek. Also if you looked really close you could see power lines and the lumber factory through the trees. There was climbing in it and they had helmets and the correct gear on. They wear climbing at Check what looked like around The Big Show. They clipped bolts and had a belay. I think she even placed a 2.5 Friend. It was funny though when he fell and a bolt slowely fell off. This was a horrible movie, but worth it's entertainment in laughs. Other funny things: -They each hiked in, 4 people with 4 two man tents. -After they hiked a day, they still had the Chief in the background, close up like they did in town. -3 losers were able to catch up with a guide on a trail while the guide had a very large head start. -She almost clobbered Beastmaster across the head with a set of Forged Friends.

His email address suggests Poland. -
Since I didn't camp, all I remember is seeing some spots in the rock around 10000 feet (I think). I heard theres a spot by, is it Cadillac Rock(?)(the big pink rock), around 11,000 feet?

I know its hard to get money for extra things like rock gear in Poland. I did not realize your geographical position when I made my previous comment. However, I still believe that going online and asking for charity for equipment for a recreational sport is down-right cheap. Asking for life sustaining nesseccities is one thing but.... Maybe PB can give us some insight....

Rock climbing can be a big struggle and sometimes a lot of suffering is involved, just like life. Rock climbing also takes a lot of hard work, just like life. If you don't have the motivation to go earn some extra cash to buy the gear, I doubt you're cut out to be a climber.
