Trails maintenance can be a lot of fun. I enjoy doing it for its own sake. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but don't knock it until you've tried it.

We had one TR for Nisqually Ice Fall this year. I got a look at the Ice Cliff route from Gib Ledges, and it looked pretty doable. Has anyone here done that route before? Would you care to tell us about it? I'd be interested in trying it at the next available opportunity if suitable conditions of snow and weather could be had.

This subject has come up before. Do a search and you will get a lot of advice. There was mentioned an area to the East of Exit 38 sport area, for example.

I have an idea for a "climber feed". We could invade one of those Mongolian Barbecue places where you can get all you can eat. I'll bet climbers could eat them into bankruptcy. Is there a Mongolian grill that is also a good drinking establishment, or close to one?

I meant get caught, not go out. I agree with you. There are always safe places to go. I plan to go out skiing myself on Sunday. But I'll bet the snowmobilers will be out playing high mark.
