Beck, we already heard about your GiGi... The Report on Belay devices for solo TR use also rated the Rocker favourably. Read all about it on this web page .

When you are making a reply look down below the box where you enter text (where I am typing now) and there is another box labelled "Instant UBB Code" click on the link called "image" and fill in the link to your pic. To get figure out the link to a picture, varies from browser to browser. They all involve some form of right-clicking on the image, and copying the address. In IE I think you right-click and choose Properties. Then you will be able to see the URL of the image. In Opera you simply right-click and choose "Copy image address". I am not familiar with NetScape. It needs to be on the net soemwehere. If it is a good photo worthy of the gallery, post it there. To do that, go to the top of your page and click the "Photo Gallery" link. From there click "Upload Photos." If it is a quick and dirty photo, for Spray or something I usually use the following procedure: Write the body of the message as you would normally. Then tick the box that says "I want to preview my post and/or attach a file," and press continue. Then attach the file and post the post. Once you have done that you can go and open the post, click on the attachment and get the address of the image from that, then go back and edit your post, adding the image as described above. A little more involved, but it will keep the photo Gllery clear of dreck... which will probably get deleted other wise. Go have a you deserve it.

I don't have polarized sunglasses. But it would be a problem I bet. I find he analog-> digital transition works really well for me. It suits my style of searching. If you don't like it, turn it off. you can also grid with a barryvox, in fact you can do anything you want to. I find the audible signal of the Tracker very confusing. The way it gets faster throws me off for some reason. I think my point is that the best beacon is the one you are comfortable with... and the one you have PRACTICED WITH!

Mammut Barryvox. Used to use an F1. Will expound later on why.

Well, here's a topo for it any way, and PP, the Chief is over 2000' high I think, from sea level anyway. Kris was just telling me about how you probably wouldn't make it over the top on the last pitch if you had a 50m rope...

OK - Apparently Squamish is now 100% open again. The District of Squamish web site no longer mentions the trail closures, so that should mean that the Smoke Bluffs are open again. Of course they are also soaking wet today. I haven't spoken to any one official to confirm this, but it should be a go.

If things go right, I will be learning to blow shit up that w/e. Seriously.
