I saw the promo for that show last night while watching "Broadway". I also noticed that they're going to be showing "Touching the Void" in November.

Don't really recommend the flu shots for children either. My children never had them and no child I know has ever had one (I work in a school). If anyone would be at risk, it's the elderly and many of them are robust enough to forgo it as well. In general, I think the flu shot is over-hyped and over-used. my 2 cents.

I find it hard to believe that any/all of the candidates wouldn't behave this way when faced with appearing on live TV before millions of people.

last time I got a flu shot - in 1997 - I ended up with walking pnemonia. Flu shots are a bad idea if you don't need it.

Funny - that's the same thing my Dad always said about California...and he added deserts to boot. We have deserts too WA still has more biodiversity than even big ol CA. None of their cities other than San Fran are worth a piss. I love San Fran tho. Don't get me wrong - I *love* Washington....that's why I'm trying to get the females to rule this place. But my old man, who is from Germany originally, thought California was the end of the world.

Washington has a wonderful opportunity to become the only state in the union run by females. As far as I know, California is the only other state with two female senators (Boxer and Feinstein) but Washington has the chance to re-elect one of its two female senators as well as a female Governor. And hopefully this will pave the way for Hillary in 2008! So I want to encourage you all to cast your vote for Christine Gregoire for governor and to re-elect that intrepid "Mom in tennis shoes" Senator Patty Murray. Thanks for listening
