  1. The issue is not with getting them to let us do it, it is with them getting insurance to let us do it. That's why VW shut down the foam at CascadeCrags. Technically, they never had the insurance to do it in the first place, it's just they never said anything so no harm, no foul.
  2. I surprised no one has said that there dream/favorite climb is the one having the most fun. Anyway, Zebra Zion is on the to do list as well as NE Ridge of Bug, and the Beckey-Chouinard on South Howser. The FNR of Stuie was fun, though I'd probably bring a puffy jacket next time I did it.
  3. Maybe a stupid question, do they sell them too? I'll just PM them.
  4. We should just call it "Frozen Spray", then CBS could be the "King of Frozen Spray".
  5. Where's the best place as far as service goes to get these liners?
  6. This ought to stir the pot a little.
  7. Does anyone know more of the history?? I bet when Bill Robins was climbing in the area he tagged it a few times in better conditions. Who else could have climbed this?? My vote is to give it a historically significant name based on the history. "A Fish Called Wanda" is kinda catchy though
  8. I'd kill for a pair of those things. Nice pics Trog, you coming to pub club??
  9. That would explain why I smelled a fishy odor. I was hoping it wasn't sewage runoff
  10. Bet that's a bit more than a Grade IV in winter, huh?
  11. Good show, everybody went out and got some this weekend Glad you brought a camera, too
  12. A little stitching and some seam grip always did the trick for me, but I guess you said you didn't want to do that.
  13. Funny....So does R&I. As a side note: WTF happened to the ICE in R&I, it's there freaking Jan Issue and the only thing remotely related to ice is Mr. Takeda's article on the CIA mission to plant a nuclear spy device on top of Nanda Devi. Weaksauce
  14. Sweet pics  I'm imagining falling icicles and pouring water...
  15. It's not how hard you can hit, it's all about how hard you can get hit and keep yourself on your feet and moving.
  16. Yeah, I just need to get my head straight. Ground falls tend to mess that whole thing up a little.
  17. 50 days?? I'm not sure there's been ice that many days in 10 years around here. Doesn't matter any way, I am so suck
  18. Mmmm.....How's the approach? Is the road still fairly drivable without major 4x4'n?
  19. Very interesting... All the lines down the coulee looked pretty sweet. Speak for yourself dude, I've got 5 days of ice in so far this season. That's like twice as much as you can expect in WA in any given year
  20. There were some footprints. There was another party in the area that walked by on their way out on Saturday. We assumed that the foot prints were there's. We did climb it, and the sticks were fat and solid. Took medium size screws and there was enough ice up top to set v-thread TR anchors so we could run laps.
  21. Close, but not quite: I always thought it looked more like a pointy K2...
  22. Here's a little something for those of you who missed out this weekend.
