When we summited Mt. Stuart via the N. ridge original route, sans the directisma, on July 4th of 1988, we had the mountain all to ourselves and didn't see another person the whole time. Today, I bet, there are at least two contingents of Girl Scouts and a gaggle of Mormon missionaries. God bless and God speed. Dennis

Just got 86ed from the fireworks outing. I don't think anyone apreciated my sense of humor regarding the earlier in-home smoke bomb incident. Guess I need to kiss some serious ass in the morning. Dennis
-
The current girlfriend is pissed at me because I nuked her daughters, and a visiting friend, upstairs with a smoke bomb that I didn't even buy. No one loves Dennis. Kill Dennis. What's up with that? Dennis

texplorer, Go get trained in the lumber jack-off industry. I've heard that that's the career of the future. Dennis

I repel just about everyone, so I consider myself an expert on this issue. Don't die up there... it's not worth it. "Alive people are always smarter than dead people." Dennis
-
Don't go up there! It is too high. You will fall off and die and your mother will cry. Dennis

Awoke this morning with that Paul Simon song, "Still crazy after all these years," going around and around in my head. Any advise to stop it? Dennis

Gosh-darn-it, I'm too drunk right now to go to bed so I guess I'll just keep on typing and pecking. There's a lot of words I'd like to say, but few that would make a bit of difference from the same. Please Help! Dennis

Point taken, Jon. Thanks. Dennis

lawgoddess, I'm glad you got away as neatly as you did. I'm assuming that you're still in training and looking for a specialty. I used to skydive with an aviation attorney named Scott Hamilton out of Denver. I wonder if a recent grad couldn't establish a niche for themselves in the field of climbing law. You could sue manufacturers of climbing gear, land-owners, and individuals, ad.nauseum. Just a thought. Dennis

AlpineK, Fuck you very much. How, exactly, did you or anyone decide that I was homosexual? An honest answer would be appreciated... if you are capable of honesty. Dennis
-
halfpint, Sorry lad... I tried to defend you, but there's just too many knuckleheads out there. God bless and God speed. I'd give you a job myself if I could. Dennis
-
And Mr. Dru sounded like a defense attorney defending someone he knew was wrong. I always kinda respected the guy before. What is up with that? Dennis
-
So you tell me. What are the bounds that are acceptable? Should we tolerate pediphilia on this site? Is it O.K. to slander(insult) other people's children on this site? I guess it is, because you havn't done squat about it. Dennis
-
No,.. the kid was just asking for a job and all that you clowns can do is shark him. Honestly though, is there anyone out there who might actually give him a job? Dennis
-
I was just advocating for the kid. Sorry. Dennis

Maybe you guys didn't catch it, but I did apologize about accussing an entire generation of the rampant bolting that is now occuring. I was wrong. But there are still too damned many bolts being drilled. You tell me... what is the answer? Dennis
-
As usual, I don't see anyone offering this lad a job. I do see a lot of bull-shit. Like the lad asked,... "anyone need an apprentice?" Dennis
-
No, but a long time ago in a land far, far away I did have a girlfriend with the longest most beautiful hair that I was teaching how to abseil down a 30' boulder... needless to say, her hair got tangled in the carabiner-abseil system and it wasn't pretty. In fact, it was probably the most embarrassing, and heroic, day of my life. Not a real good way to sustain a long term relationship. Dennis
-
Damn!! I thought I'd heard everything,.. but top-roping 5.11 with the rope tied around your nutsack? Certainly would instill the motivation, I guess. What knot do you recommend... the Hangman's Noose? You guys are sick. Dennis

My girlfriend's seven year old daughter and I hiked up Saddle Rock this morning. She insisted that she was, "only going half way up." I told her that the top of the rock was the whole way and that the saddle was, "half way up." We got up there and had the hill and the view to ourselves. What a little trooper! Anyone out there like to talk (write) some shit about her? Dennis
-
Dru, Ya gotta love it! Was that, by chance, taken looking backward from the approach to Mt. Triumph? How could a guy get a negative of that shot to have blown-up poster size? Dennis
-
It's O.K., Retro. I know where he lives. He's an Evergreen Liberal College Cunt and we'll get him when the time is right. Hey boy (and I do mean boy)... you DO NOT insult my friend's son and walk away unscathed and just walk away. Watch your back. Dennis
-
And how old are you anyway, Scottie? I'm guessing about.. huh.. twenty? I rest my case. Dennis

... ah yes, an underwater cell-phone would be great except for the fact that it's really hard to call for 911 help when you're drowning with only four minutes to live. But, I guess, my dive partner could call for me. They could then recover my remains as soon as possible when my body finally surfaces. Dennis
