  1. ha ha what i meant i suppose was those were two areas i was considering...leaving alot of specific deets up in the air for now. thanx for the info...i have looked into the integral and its sounds great...skywalk butt, kystra or whatever...long beautiful alpine rock climbing...ummmm. i will be doin' "training trips this season, cascades, squamish, swbc alpine, bugs, etc...lots of free time, and will be looking for peeps. -bp
  2. cool folks thanx for the feedback...i thinkin combatant col/sunny knob,to focus on mostly rock routes on combatant, teidemann, asperity, serra towers...etc. i'm thinking around the end of july, early august, for 2-4 weeks, repeating classics/ scoping potential. have a couple folks really interested, and will be climbing as soon as my winter job ends around here tons...i thought it'd be cool to meet up with other folks who will be around and do some routes here prior to flying out.-bp
  3. so yeah last nite was great!..met up with a friend on the boat, got pretty loaded, and hit the gym...funny. i find that i like to get on some of them top-ropes they have set up and try and go up and down via diff routes downclimbin in between until i'm so pumped i fall off...then try harder stuff when i'm all geeked... good times...put maaann is that place bright i.m sooo out of that syle of "climbing" is fun to just gape among the real gym climbers -bp oh yeah...anyone wanna meet up fer some tonite...i'm doin a buddys birthday celebration later, but was lookin to sesh fer a bit first.lemme kno
  4. gonna be pullin plastic at the gardens this evening...bring yer stash! look for tall lit dood, say hi, and we'll sesh...-bp
  5. so my first attempt at this uber-proj was successful up to the pullin plastic part, kinda hard for me to motivate for that shit...but i'm thinking of goin for it again...any suitors for any stage lemme know...ken4, is in for the send-a-thon plastic, but whos down fer some drink tossin',food slammin,get-down sesshin' crux section...they'll be good folks en-route too...whodown?-bp
  6. last nites show was outrageous!!!! -bp
  7. eastlake east is the road that borders rei to the east between i-5 and rei... Lo-Fi is north of rei, not too far theres a place called the lobo saloon... the door to Lo-Fi is very discreet and just south of the entrance to lobo...hopefully this makes sense or you can pick up Stranger, or go to lofi seattle.com or some shit. hope you can make it! good times -bp
  8. cool ken...i'll call you when i gets into town, off at 4:00, hopefully in town before 7:00, you should bring yer dad -bp
  9. warning: this has zero to do with climbing... one dimensional veiwers please look away!!! for those interested therrs some good shit goin down the next couple of nites at the Lo-Fi on eastlake east... one of the city cooler music venues. tonite: an evening of grooves layed down like ya ain't seen before, horns, keys, dj, samples, live drums, ill jams... plus they gots aranciata -need i say more. friday nite: Skerik joins the joe doria trio...if you like crazy fusion type jazz this quartet will kill... arguably seattle best sax and hammond players with drums and guitar...better to come and see then for me to try and hype it more. thats all... hope to see those in the know, and if youre the type who likes to step out of yer box once in a while... this would be an interesting, at the very least experience. lemme know if you need more info...and if you show up look for tall, stoked dood with beanie, and big smile. -bp
  10. "ultimate" without the needles..? sounds cool anyway.-bp
  11. i'm comin down from the mountain(which was beautiful today), to try and pull some plastic, eat some thai food, and drink some booze while listening to music. this uber-proj could go solo, but i'm looking for a hardcore partner for this big enchainment... ...must be able to stand around in a cloud of chalk, occasionally making ridiculous noises on a route way over yer head, stand in long lines outside cramped thai joint, and finally slam many rounds while dodging flying limbs of karate b-boys, in a trendy seattle club...while being lit the whole time-sounds pretty epic huh? i'm thinking gradeVI for sure, and maybe gonna make shirts afterwards to fund future expeditions -bp
  12. so yeah... this last mon/tues was great in the sun at smiff...wassup with this coming mon/tues, if its nice around here i'd love to get on some granite...or another trip to smiff...early week is great! -bp
  13. fun in the sun!!! thanx pax good times, was stoked to try out the ol' busted flipper, not 100% but gettin there...-bp thanx for not posting the climbing boxer shorts pics -its fun gaping sometimes, especially at smiff
  14. this reminds me of my second multi-pitch trad route, that mr natural took me on...outer space, i didn't own rock shoes at the time but natty had all the other requisit equip so hed take me out and i'd try and rally with cross-trainers. careno crag worked out good so he set our sights a little higher, and we headed up to sno crick wall... on the second pitch somewhere not far from the belay, there was a traverse heading left... not too bad but there was a move where i had to slap my nikes out to a slopy bump and rock over to a hold... natty thought this part was cake and cruzied right thru, placing gear after the traverse... with a little hesitation, and concern at the big loop of rope in front of me, i stepped out, and extended for the hold, the nike blew, i tried to fall into the hold, i hit it sideways but couldn't stick, so off i went in a big arching cartwheel across the face, nearly slamming my head, and ending up on some heinous licheny face more or less directly below natty... we went on to finish the climb, and the cross trainers smelled real good when feet finally escaped their hellish fire swamp, and emerged in the pristine environ of mr.nats car... he gagged, almost puked, then nearly left me in the icicle...paybacks a bitch thanx doug for those fun times back in the day, lets get out soon!
  15. tru tru...will do. i wanna climb at index if its nice...maybe smiff if it ain't, i'll be in touch-bp
  16. funny how all this jazz talk here produces very few cc.commer sightings at some of seattles best live jazz evenings... not that i'm complaining...much better to listen too than spray about- i like remixed as well. check out lo-fi on thursday evenings for some ill electronica fusion blending many styles to create an original get-down sound... bugle, trumpet with wa-wa effect, lap-top, lots of keys, and good sound
  17. that climb was cool huh? i'd like to give'er a go on lead as opposed to the shenanigains i got involved with the last time not that theres anything wrong with steep loose blocks wedged in mud and moss...-bp
  18. workin'...till sunday evenin, then goin where the sun be shining fer some rock climbin' -bp
  19. well, as it always seems too, my ride back up worked out great ran into a friend at the show who happened to be rollin up to stevens this mornin' great shows. lo-fi is a good venue, and a good time was had by all... aranciata= no hangover, oh and its dumpin today, tho if yer heading up this afternoon know there is avy control work being done, maybe some delays-bp
