eeeexxxaacttlly... good story! uncertainty can definatly lead to opportunity. throw a positive vibe in with that and you've got the makings of an adventurous existance where "problems" and "bumps in the road" hold hidden potential for worthwhile experience plus cute girls with and powder days at mt baker is a pretty cu too -bp

sounds fun tho, i've been yo-yoing between seattle and the pass via busses and hitchhiking and scoring rides with friends, and whatnot, and would be all about seeing joe and friends. if i had aride from seattle to the pass that'd tip the scales for sure...anyone...free lifty ticket for lift to the mountain friday morning? -bp
-
well then... if you see a dude with on hwy 2 tomorrow, be a good citizen and pick this gentle soul up...love your fellow man... or not. hitchhikings cool cause you never get picked up by arogant assholes, weirdos sure, but never fucks, they always drive by with their noses up lookin away, i wonder what lifes like when youre too cool for strangers -haters create good karma-bp todays hitching adventure proved that sometimes its better to miss the bus the dood who picked me up,had some crons too and i've been all day- i actually got to work earlier than the bus would've, tho i could barely funtion...

yeah, some folks will not let it go... sometimes things get stuck...sometimes cams that other people thought were stuck get unstuck, its kinda a game of give and take... i sometimes botch it and get shit stuck, and i also score plenty of booty so it kinda balances out for me i try not to sweat it. some people have like a score to keep, "i've never not been able to clean a peice" like they'll sit there get all pissed, bloody, waste a ton of time over a few dollar nut, whatever floats youre boat i suppose. but wasting time on some routes, is far worse in consequence than $ lost...my 2 cents-bp

the more appropriate approach to this dilemma may involve some pre-climb retraction instruction if its a newbie, otherwise place the cam correctly, if you blow it on the lead, can't really say much 'cept give it youre best shot, then maybe lower down yourself, and work on YOUR CAM. if there is the chance of a newbie getting my shit stuck, i'll make sure they know the program, and i'll do my best to make it easy for them as they learn the intricacies of gear removal. but sometimes shit happens, and you gotta weigh the price of a peice of gear over safty, and frienships/partnerships. use tact-bp

on a similar note, the syncopated taint septet featuring all the players i listed above, will play an all ages show, with a bar as well, at SAM (seattle art museum) thursday feb19 5:30-7:30, great venue, great group...check it out -bp oh and i read a thread somewhere about pub clubs needing some variety, if youre all not opposed to music playing while youre all trying to spray about climbing,"tost" in freemont is a great venue-no smoking inside, good sound good bar and jude bowerman plays real upbeat dancy groovy stuff down der on tuesdays-my2cents-bp
