me and whirlwind were in the parking lots at castle rock and some crusty ass foo comes up and says he has a great way for full length rappels with one rope... you tie off to a fi-fi hook some how and attach a ruber band in a way that when you let up pressure, the hook comes off the rock... he says you have to be carefull not to take your weight off of it or the hook will come loose! WTF? that is the greatest darwin awards candidate thing i have ever heard...

i was traveling from Alberta with my track team and on teh plane was the entire cheerleading teamof the B.C. lions, us, and 4 drunk football fans at teh front ot the plane... they had just won the grey cup and were celebrating and the men kept trying to get back and hit on the cheerleaders... while laughing our asses off, me and my coach had to block the aistle for 80% of teh trip and we watched as they were handcuffed upon leaving the plane...

I didn't think sport climbs topped out? Actually, even leading it on an 85 meter is a long f%$king rope. I have seen many 70 meter ropes. Most spools of rope you can buy are more towards the gym side of things and are almost static, so he would not want to climb on one of these. Maybe since he is such a big stud, the rope company made a few special ropes for him, so they could get some advertisement value out of him. no way... there are plenty of spools of dynamic if you know where to look... plus i know some catalogues that sell 100 meter ropes... but there is probably an intermediate rap anchor... makes sense eh? i dontthink you could redpoint 5.15c with 20 lbs of rope trailing....

Now maybe they were asleep in their tent, or maybe they were getting ready to go to sleep and started talking to drunk Canadian teens. I really don't know.
