i am just curious whether you think that you need the "v-type" opening as i have belayed some pretty large whippers and have never had any serious slippage withthe standard ATC or the newer reverso... have you had this kind of slippage? or it it more for catching when you didnt react quick enough? also would this "v-type" put a dramatically larger stress on the rope considering that it has such a sharper bend? dunno...

if i can get there i will try the milk challenge...i have done it with 2% before... i doubt i can do it with whole (as i very nearly puked last time) but only time will tell eh?
tis true johnny....god cares not whether we are dems or republicans... he only asks that we follow him... but i think you are trollin... but i hear that the best troll bait is either global warming or pre-eptive strike on iraq... hope ya catch a keeper!...
someone was asking about travel insurance and whether or not it had climbing covered. i believe that you can (if you are canadian) get it for $1 a day and it does cover climbing...could be wrong though as it was word of mouth...
isn't that scrabble? thjat stuff is shitty...my grandma tried to make me eat that shit... baisically grind up a pig in a blender and cook it and you have it.... wrong...really wrong....

good luck hyper spud...that is what i said a week ago and i got reamed for it... i thought it was only logical to question the rope given the damage to the cams... i haven't seen them, but from what i have heard, it is dramatic.
i agree with the ladies...i was standing beneath neat and cool in squish about to climb it when some austrian guy says "yah you know sum guy died der las week yah?" "gear pulled"... that is a scary thing...i think that it would be pretty creepy... i dont even think an actual memorial would be what is best rather a "memorial climb" either a first ascent or something and name it the Goran Memorial route...that is a bit more in keeping with the man i think... he was a climber...he wouldn't want people sacred off a route because of his unfortunate accident...just my 2 cents
