on a related note: how the hell do you learn to work the terrain park w/o killing yourself in the process. I have never been more injured than I have going off large jumps just slightly crooked. even little kickers can kick my ass if I don't pay attention, and I almost killed myself when I botched a 360 this weekend. seems like there is a lot of marketing towards the park stuff (ski resorts really seem to push it here in oregon) but are there lessons or something to ease your way into this stuff? btw, I've heard tweaked or broken forearms are the number one snowboarding injury.

This is the queue to post my biannual suggestion for pants with skin material on them (not as thick though).

the kicker skins idea is a good one. Another one is to hang on to them when you have to return them due to glue failure and you need to show a "before and after" example.

definitely those climbs where I first pitched on gear (and it held, obviously).
