  1. No, no, it doesn't rhyme with "oven," that sounds stupid.

I wanted to point out that while my mod-o-context meter tells me Harry is making a joke rather than a threat, if the relevant poster is the individual so many of us suspect, he will be utterly unable to parse out the distinction.
  3. Sort of like when a friend of mine wore a full old-school pile outfit inside out (including cowl) for a halloween party? Maybe it's more like that "furry" thing Dru is always on about...
  4. Yep, dates with your wife count, maybe double. Too many guys stop dating their wives.
  5. I'm unfamiliar with the term, is that like normal bears but with an even thicker layer of subcutaneous insulation?
  6. Amazingly, I'm only eight years older than Salma Hayek, but I get your drift. Frankly, if I were the father of this 39 year old woman, I'd be a lot more concerned about her Ramtha devotion than statements about her hottness. My daughter is only 14, so I might view comments about her hotness from a man your age with some disapproval. When she's older, it will be easy enough to let go of the little girl and hope for happy consensual relations of her own choosing. The years between 16 and 18? You'll excuse me if I don't want to dwell on that right now...
  7. Well Dru, that's certainly true, but you might have to expand on your koan for simple me to grasp your point. Maybe if every man had a daughter they loved there would be fewer rapists?
  8. Right, with a fuck icon. As one with a daughter, i find nothing sweet about that Kurt.
  9. Seriously people, talk about stooping to an all time low. I don't care if it's an easy target, leave spouses and kids out of it.
  10. Hey CJ? It's early season, barbless hooks on artifical lures only please.
  11. Take pictures, tell us stories when you return.
  12. Exactly. Now, what's that easy WA Pass looking thing Eric posted?
  13. Actually, now that I've broken down and examined the printed material, I think it's not Brunser. We did Washington Bullets that day, which is why Brunser would sound familiar, but I believe the pic is something else.
  14. Yeah, it's Murrin, and Brunser sounds right. After I posted, I realized I'd have to go look it up to figure out the name. That shot is actually from my honeymoon in 1988. You know she's a keeper when she agrees that a trip to Squamish with 20 of your best friends is a suitable post-nuptial vacation.
  15. I'd wager Dru will get that first one of mine, Kix certainly nailed the second.
  16. The poster's just looking for info, the links are provided, so I'm locking the thread to nip the reet-reet-reet about the route in the bud. If you want to start an annual rant about this climb, please go start your own thread in Spray.
  17. Here Kix, hows this? There is rock under that moss...
  18. #3 (should be easy too)
  19. No grass pitches, that stuff looks nice.
  20. You've fallen behind on your reading in "California and everywhere else."
  21. I thought I might observe that it's not all that essential that we see a picture of this.
  22. Yeah, I looked at that Washington topo. There must be several ways to go there, because we did a line on that buttress in 1988 that involved no bolts and no rappels, also went at about 5.7. That's a really fun feature, and at an hour away it's defintely the closest real alpine route to Olympia.
  23. Ahh Fairweather, I don't see how E-rock's theoretical non-specific "I'm going to butt-rape a lacrosse player" even matches the "If you mention my wife again I'm going to beat the shit out of you" threat you've employed, and we let that one slide too. Oh, nice to see you though. Come home honey, all is forgiven.
  24. Futility Bill! That's a good line.
  25. That (remarkably successful) troll was soooo 2004.
