I do not use stuff sacks for anything. Saves weight. I roll the 3/4 ultralight thermarest up to deflate it, tighten the valve and line my pack with it.

Dang! I tried to order a pair of the MLT4's but kept getting a 'Page not found' error. My karma is catching up to me. I'm sorry I flamed everyone on CC.COM. Can I have my boots now?
-
I'm in for a Leavenworth trip on a weekend. Any further than that and I would want more time.

Where do we camp? Who guards our shit? Is MiniBill bringing his knife?

When I was fighting fires in MT, I spent a lot of time in and around helicopters in the Scapegoat wilderness. I saw a lot of wildlife from the heli and from the ground while the heli was coming in. They weren't very interested unless it got low and close.

Great info. Thanks. I have a wide flat foot that is about a 10 3/4. My priority is climbing. My boots will see Liberty ridge as a starter. And will see triple couliours, Stuart, Chair etc. I definately need the climbing performance to be as good as the system can offer. So do you all agree that the Dynafit TLT 4 Pro's are best for climbing?

I am looking for a dynafit boot, or something comprable, for mountaineering and skiing. Size 11. Anyone have any advice? I am researching now. Scarpa? Garmount? Dynafit? Pro's and cons?

It's true. I thought he was president of a fraternity house but it turned out to be his.

True about the ID. It also is a more likely place to find a crevasse.

Oh. Are we supposed to HAVE kids? Good thing my wife thought of that......

Who's kid are you?

I'm all booked up from this site. You will probably get a tker or two also but here is another option. Go up to Muir and hang until someone is willing to rope up with you. There are a lot of people up there on the weekends and the route up the DC is literally a trench in the snow. Just turn around in time to get back to Ingraham flats by 1PM so you don't come down with an avalanche.

A spring thing would be great. When is the last day of school for LK WA? Last week in June I think. The 25-27 would work for me.

Bug was. No shit. -
The more climbers I meet, the less sensitive I get. BUt very true about the shoes. My daughter climbs in shoes that are three sizes too big. They still stick and she loves to climb. Good combo.

Nice TR. Good to have a rock like that so close.

I did? I don't remember having that conversation... and I only had two "soda pops" that night. It was confusing being in the same area as another Ralph... I kept hearing women calling my name, but then I'd see 'em talking with some other guy ( tread_tramp). to whoever brought the corn! And the pasta. And the burgers. And all the other stuff I ate. Yum! Good times. OK. Just the rope then.

We got our tax cut to stimulate the economy. Those same people wouldn't raise oil prices and dampen the economy would they? I mean, what sense would that make? They stand for what is best for America right? And if condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.It doesn't affect our fight against terrorism to alienate the world. A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation. Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton. Group sex and drug use are degenerate sins unless you someday run for governor of California as a Republican. Government should relax regulation of Big Business and Big Money but crack down on individuals who use marijuana to relieve the pain of illness. "Standing Tall for America'" means firing your workers and moving their jobs to India. HMOs, drug companies, and insurance companies have the interest of the public at heart. Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools. Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion. A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense. A president lying to start a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy. Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet. The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business. You support states' rights, which means Attorney General John Ashcroft can tell states what local voter initiatives they have a right to adopt. What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80s is irrelevant. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

Somebody's coffee is kicking in... OK, I might be a little jumpy but the Sensitivity Training Manual specifically excludes lawers and politicians. Besides, she is in Colorado and can't kick my ass.

Right back at ya! I figured you were too afraid that I might kiss you if you introduced yourself The suspense is killing me.

not necessarily at the bottom. you want it close to your center of gravity. OK counselor. Now we have to discuss which brand and model and who is wearing it so we can determine where the center of gravity will be depending on the force of the load in motion. Speaking of a load in motion..........

Heavy stuff at the bottom and in close to the back. No brainer. Especially important if you are skiing.
