  1. Yep, that's the word on the street - these things seem to be falling apart Too bad, considering the amount of Tommy-buzz there was about these

I hope they all realize that under the new rules that will be their one and only ascent of Diedre for the rest of their lives

  12. Spent some good time with the K tonight. Not having seen him in previous days, I have to say I was impressed and encouraged He knew my name and could tell me about various cc.com personalities He sure wants to make a break for it a la "One flew Over the Kukoos Nest" - offering me $10 if I could smuggle him out to go get drunk You got some good friends rooting for ya Kurt Everybody be careful - it's long weekend both sides of the line
  13. So both lines were 5.10d X then?

  19. No, I forget what we did with it. There wasn't a mark on it, despite its vertical journey!
  20. COnsider those piece of shit guides as a whimsical possibility. They're full of errors for roads that are 10 years old - I wouldn't expect accuracy for the maze of roads that have gone in at Salal in the past 5 years ...
  21. I found a red TCU at the base of Yak last year and promptly ran into its owner on the Ultimate Evrything two weeks later
  22. cool I once spent 7 days in minus 30*C waitin for that thing to show its ass
  23. Also planning on doing that one day this weekend. A clubtreader went up it recently: http://www.clubtread.com/sforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=16939 I skied the road back in November. Seem to remember that the ditches were only in the final 2 or so kms . . . snow line is high ebough though, if that's what you're concerned about.
  24. Was the final face too steep or icy to ski?
