Yep, it's the place with the bikes. Salty's might have a dock...?

Thanks, I have one of those MSR kettles, and though it works great, I keep wishing it were a *little* bit bigger.

Signal-to-noise ratio is getting a bit high.I asked a reasonable question and got six responses, all of them useless. You guys are killing me!

I just wrote a set or articles for Washington Trails about this subject. You can see what I found by clicking here

I am looking for one of these, new or used. Don't want a whole multi pan set, and I'd rather not pay full retail, this stuff is so spendy!

"Frictiony Face, Panty Waist" It's at Red Rocks, and despite its gentle rating, it has a cheese-grater factor that turns many into simpering 6 year-olds.

You've got that wrong, K. Matter of fact I just took our ailing friend Sayjay for a walk around Greenlake yesterday!

Correction, I was showing off some bruises I picked up over the weekend. Flame suit on.

I also do it frequently. Couple ot thing to note, one is that you need to get them really clean or the SG won't adhere, and the other thing is unless you apply it really sparingly, somewhat defeating the purpose, it will drip, which is sort of unsightly, if you care about such things.

Well then, "Heinous Meat Market" (to quote myself) it is!

Lordy, I agree with Trask and Dennis both. Something is seriously wrong in the world. There's a little button right next to the "Add Reply" button called "Preview Post". It lets you preview your posts before you add your reply.

I know there are a few MDs who post on this board. I've been taking Meloxicam samples for a while and my arthritic ankle seems to be responding well to it. Group Death doesn't carry the stuff, so it's going to be ungodly expensive for me to get my prescription filled, and I'm looking for more samples to get me through for a while. Send me a PM if you know where I can get some, and I'll be forever in your debt! Sorry gang I know this is a weird post but I'm in a bit of a bind over this.

Boots fit just fine, shanks are too stiff for my purposes.

Now you idiots know F8 is of some Asian heritage....riiight?

Real smartre little fartres are willing to admit, after logging 60 miles or so on a new pair of boots, that they may have gone a little too stiff on the boot choice this time. If Dave Page can't help (and he can't on stiffness), then they buck up and visit their local retailer to get a nice shiny new pair of Zamberlains, like smarty should have done in the first place. Ah, live and learn. Anybody in the market for a nice, almost broken in pair of Merrell GTs, Women's size 9?

The Fiddler's blows. Fern bar. Plus it is way way too small. So are we out on the beach again, or should we maybe do one of our old standbys like the Ballard Alehouse ore somesuch?
-
Yeah, we had one over in the Cle Elum Lake drainage this morning too. Rare, but not extremely rare.

PS. Denny, I've met my share of socially retarded climbers, and you have GOT to be an avatar....nice troll anyway! And don't give me that old line about looking you up in the phone book---there is no listing for Dennis Harmon in Wenatchee or anywhere nearby!

Since when was something as trip-stopping as BLISTERS wasn't worthy of some discussion on this board? Maybe I've missed something being gone a few days? [ 07-08-2002, 07:12 AM: Message edited by: allison ]

I got some blisters this weekend, so today I tried this method to give my feet a rest, and got the most humungous and multi-layered blister I've ever, well, I think I could rent this one blister out as a 'roomy basement studio apartment.' Holy $#1+!!! PS. I take back everything I said in my previous post. I used all of my tried-and-true methods as stated above before resorting to the "untied" method, and these blisters rival any I've ever had...and I was pretty confident that my feet were pretty toughened up prior to this weekend. They had callouses all over them, and now, well they're just a pile of meat on the end of my legs! [ 07-07-2002, 08:23 PM: Message edited by: allison ]

Nuttin' worthy of cc.com, just getting in shape for some upcoming ambitious XC hikes coming up later in the summer.... some hard 4th/easy 5th, and just part of the whole package. But....FWIW the high country is finally starting to melt out. There is some dry land over 6000' in south-facing drainages E of the Crest. Hope you weren't talking to me, Denny. -

The only person I saw all day yesterday was my partner. If you know what you are up against, humanwise, well, it's noooo problem. -

The weather was spectacular on the dry side this weekend. Sorry to hear you guys have been reduced to talking politics when the weather is sooooo nice!
