  1. 190cm K2 Shuksans with BD skins, Silvretta 500 bindings, and Garmont boots(size 29.5) $400 obo. See photos, http://dlars.smugmug.com/gallery/3907039/1#226669922
  2. The gear is 4 or 5 years old and in good shape. The skis are 190's with silvretta 500 bindings, size XL. The skins are Black Diamond acensions.
  3. Pete, It was actually a two day trip. We left Morrison at 4 pm Friday and camped at about 6300 ft. Saturday we started around 8 and made the summit at around 2:30.
  4. I just returned tonight, we summited Saturday about 2:30. We parked at Morrison Creek and followed the creek rather than walking to Cold Springs. It's the fourth year in a row we've gone on the same weekend and it's definitley the least amount of snow I've seen. I didn't recognize the Crecent Glacier from previous years. I you park at Morrison Creek there's still enough snow in the creek gully to ski out within about a mile from the campground.
  5. I'm 6'7" and in the market for a down bag. Most of the "long" models I've seen only go to 6'6". Any suggestions?
  6. FS: Metolius 60 hold mega pack plus about a dozen REI finger holds. $100 obo I'm in Tacoma daveclarson@gmail.com
  7. Ouch!!!! Took some bad advice from a salesman and went way too small. They're size 11 1/2 and have maybe ten days on them. What's the going rate for used shoes????? make me an offer. [ 09-04-2002, 09:06 PM: Message edited by: doubletall ]
  8. We parked next to the outhouse at Morrison Creek on Friday the 14th. We passed 10 to 15 cars that didn't take a chance at the few snow patches that blocked the road. When we left saturday afternoon the snow we had to plow through friday was gone.
  9. Forgot to mention that I'm 6'6", that will probably eliminate many models.
  10. Anybody do Adams this past weekend? How far down is the snow?
  11. I need a tent for hiking, backcountry skiing, etc... Not sure if a three season will be sufficient or if I should fork out the cash for a four season. If it's blowing and puking, I won't be heading out but I don't want a tent that's going to fall apart if I get caught in some weather. Any suggestions on brands and specific models. It's not going to see a lot of use; maybe three to four times a year.
  12. How well do plastic climbing boots work with AT binding on the descent. As long as there is adequate control, I would prefer to have the comfort and lighter weight of a climbing boot versus climbing in an AT boot. Any thoughts?
