What's wrong with the democrats??
Democrat's are a fickle bunch. There is no question that if we all voted alike, we'd get rid of Bush in November. That may not happen though. Unlike the republicans, who don't have an original thought in their head(s), we have to analyze and scrutinize every minor detail about a candidate before we punch our (soon to be uncounted) hanging chad. That's the way we are. We analyze ourselves right into a chimp for a president, and a rotten war.
I still wish that I was casting my vote for Edwards in November. While he might be just another politician ( they all are), he's a lot of things that Kerry isn't. For starters, he's not a career politician, he's not a war hero, and he's actually likeable.
But regardless, I'm voting for Kerry, because he's a democrat, and that's the only reason I need. When it comes down to it, that's all that matters, and that's what more democrats need to understand. A vote for Kerry is a vote against Bush. A few independents (because we know they are all closet democrats) need to understand that too.
I'm still looking forward to Kerry picking a VP!
