But hey, supposedly something like 7% of body energy output goes to the gonads, so maybe these chemically neutered guys are just that much lighter, faster and more efficient without wasting all that energy on sex. And if that's the case, it won't be long before competitive climbers start emulating them.

i had a pre-cam stop yellow metolius that i broke a couple years ago by taking a not very big whip onto it. it didn't fail until fern was lowering me off on it though!

The BC Basemap access has changed significantly. The portal is now through a federal website: http://www.nric.ca/ The basemap data is now called "iMap BC". Once you get to the actual basemap, it's mostly the same, but it is harder to find a link to turn the contours on. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to do it. You have to add basemap layers because contours are not in the options provided in the layers that are already turned on.

The best way to train to be the fastest speed climber is to register a whole bunch of avatars on cc.com and get a dog. Then when you fake some sort of world record human/dog speed ascent you can get your avatars to back you up.
