If diplomacy fails, she's not afraid to fight for what she believes in. And she looks good in leather, too!
  3. quote: Originally posted by thelawgoddess: if you promise to have marshmallows, long sticks, and a big fire i might be persuaded to stop by. Oh great - nice setup! Now we'll have to hear about how long everybody's sticks are for the next couple of pages...
  4. I carry DFA's calendar around for inspiration!

  6. Who said cc.com was just a bunch of mindless drivel? quote: Originally posted by Dru: "but finding the adult alive in its natural environment should not be difficult." And I should be climbing 5.14 in no time at all!
  7. quote: Originally posted by rbw1966: Lots of multi-pitch fun to be had in the moderates and the spraymaster levels. Is it true that the ratings at both Beacon and Broughton are pretty true/hard/sandbagged for their grade?
  8. But can she belay?
  9. Damn! I took last weekend at Smith, so it's only fair that sk gets this weekend... Perhaps another time. Climb on!
  10. Now those would HAVE to be considered aid! I do have a few questions regarding their use: Can you just put those in your chalk "sack" to warm your hands up on cold days? Can you bring more on difficult climbs? Can you slot them in cracks and tie them off old school style? Do they itch when you wake up in the morning?
  11. quote: Originally posted by Dru: izzat guy skiing or wiping out, he's so deep in the plab you cant tell. So deep in the plab??? That's magically plabalicious!
  12. quote: Originally posted by Cletus: Frickin novistry. Double post. Didn't Gaper-T give you the manual when you paid for your subscription? In addition to covering how to avoid making novice mistakes like reposting old content and double-posting, there is a good dictionary covering buzz-words like snafflehound, gaper, and freshiez. There is also a fun quiz in the back called Guess the Avatars - if you get a perfect score you win a year's supply horsecock and a puppy porn calendar!
  13. I wonder what the instructions on that tag are for?
  14. Wouldn't the bear just swim away?
  15. quote: Originally posted by rbw1966: I'll second Caveman's suggestion. I picked up two matching tools for ~$100 clams brand new. From Mountain Porn to Gear Porn - gotta love it all! I think I'm off to use the privy again... [ 09-11-2002, 04:34 PM: Message edited by: jkrueger ]
  16. quote: Originally posted by rbw1966: You might need two ice tools for this route. Maybe sk and I can loan something to Texplorer again, it will get stolen, and then he will have to reimburse us with an ice axe! [ 09-11-2002, 04:20 PM: Message edited by: jkrueger ]
  17. Hey Cavey - If you keep posting shots like that I'm going to be forced to go out and buy crampons and an ice axe!
  18. There's some quality s-tuft! Please excuse me while I go to the bathroom to, errr, ummm, use the bathroom...
  19. You should know better than to peruse the clearance racks at the Mountain Porn store...
  20. quote: Originally posted by trask: She does nothing but give me gas. Perhaps you should try some of these:
  21. quote: Originally posted by upperdecker: How obvious, Heywood=JK Oh no, my secret identity has been ousted...
  22. Perhaps the server machines aren't getting their RDA of horsecock?
  23. Did you find that in Timm@y's bathroom?
  24. quote: Originally posted by allison: The D and D looks SCAARY!!! You guys should go to the Martini Bar and hang out with the old people. Have a Lemon Drop for me! I believe the operative phrase regarding the D&D was ladies night. After a weekend full of circle jerking the horsecock, can you blame them? On the other hand, Heinrich Horsecock might be a regular at the Martini Bar and have some good drink beta to share.
  25. Yes, it's true; seven cc.com folk (plus one more) descended upon Smith Rock for the weekend and in essence became the clusterfuck we so often ridicule and despise (oh, the irony!). My thanks go out to Grand Master Timm@y & Becky for rolling out the red carpet (as usual), and to everyone who showed up to share their ropes, catch my falls, and offer their encouragement. Let it be known that shredmaximus always carries a full set of nuts, sketchfest is definitely belay certified, and the bathroom "reading" materials at the palace are second to none! And who was that Austrian Fred Beckey guy? He rapped down from the heavens in my moment of desperation to shout out heavily accented route beta and offer his support; like magic, he gave me the extra mojo I needed to pull something that I would otherwise have backed off of.
