Saturday - MTB ride at Fort Ebey state park. Mostly dry trails and no rain. There is something wrong when you work up a sweat in shots and a short sleave shirt in January. Sunday - Did yoga to recover from ride, hung out with granny, cleaned house and food shopped. So I was all stoked to sit down and partake in my Sunday night ritual of watching 60 Minutes. BUT THERE WAS SOME STUPID ASS CRIME SHOW INSTEAD!!!!!!! WTF is going on????????

Good news for fire crews - lots of OT

From what I saw this summer that area gets some people but I wouldn't say it's crowded. There is a bridge near lake Ivanho that can no longer support horses so the west side of Dutch Miller Gap doesn't get any. If that bridge gets fixed there will be some horse trafic. The bridge at Pedro Camp needs work, not shure how mutch longer it will last.

Keep in mind that the last few miles of road is expensive to keep open. A few years ago a big tree fell, they couldn't move it so they had to move the road. There is lots of great off trail hiiking up there. I hope the road stays open.......

I wore shorts to work today! I'll be doing lots of mountain biking. Check out Fort Ebey State Park, some of the best lowland trails around.

I work with a woman who takes litium AND prozac. She's a bit spacey. I have also worked with homos (M & F & 1???), achoholics, dope dealers, pot growers, a Mormon, Cambodians, people who don't speak english, people on work release and other folk so strange I never could figure out what they were into.

MarkL and I were up there today. We did the loop plus some touring in the old groth by Grand Junction. Wax was kinda lame in the mornig but as soon as it started to snow in worked great. Glad I got some before all the rain next week melts it.
