  5. Do you mean that you are planning on making a donation after the first wave of donating is over? Now that is planning ahead--very smart. Yes
  6. Enough of Katrina and the political fallout. Let's get down to what's realy important. Saturday - MTB ride MF Snoqualmie Trail. Awesome, wish I was a beter technical rider. This trail isn't for biginers. Fairwether, get your lazy ass out there and check it out. Your friends at the WTA have done a great job. If it's not hard enough for you let me know. My suspension got a full workout. Sunday - Yoga to recover then Bumbershoot. Monday - 60 mile road ride then chores a chillin'
  7. Fido will now save New Orleans.
  8. While major advances in health care have been made since the 50s spending on public heath has gone down. This disaster will put a huge strain on the public hospitals. When they try to raise taxes to cover thier costs the tax will be voted down.
  9. So what else is new, if your poor your fucked. I wonder how long before we get tired of helping these folks. I am holding off my donation for a few months. Some of these people will recover and move on, others will need help for years.
  10. Fuck it, make everyone feel good, cheap gas, low taxes, ect.....
  11. That sucks, more and more people are running red lights in this town. It's crazy.
  12. Dude, you need help! My way is way more fun.
  13. No snow yet (unless your Gaper Jeffy) but we can have fun getting ready for it! Looking for people to ride with this fall. Most trails are wide and smooth with muddy sections. There’s some steeper stuff near the top. From what I’ve read fall is the best time of year for this place. I want to do the Mean Green 54 in early November before it gets super muddy. No motos and after 11/1 no horses. Did some rides down there last spring and really enjoyed it. It’s a giant tree farm so there’s clear cuts and 2nd growth forest. This will be great training for what I hope is a great winter, spring and summer of back country skiing. I live in Seattle and don’t drive. I have weekends off but may be able to do a weekday with a few days notice. Ready to start with 30 miles and work up to 54. More info: http://www.capitolforest.com/index.html
  14. ooooooooo thier soooooo cute!
  15. Mods can you move this to Events? Anyone want to
  16. I thought Skip James wrote that song.
  17. You need meds.
  18. One of my faves!
  19. So I can handle a president that I don't agree with. This fucker doesn't have any socail or diplomatic skills. Other countries have offered to help and Bush says something like "We don't need any help, we're a great country and we can take care of ourselves". I don't know about you, but my parents taught me to be polite and say thank you.
  20. He has my vote.
  21. Smoke some pot.
  22. I see trails up the Pratt and Taylor rivers. Anyone hiked them lately? What kind of shape are they in?
  23. Take a close look at the pictures in the link, tread width 12" to 30". Hourses don't like stepping on boulders.
  24. A note about brush, shure it looks like hell at first, give it 5 years and it will be back. If you trim it back just a little it will be back next year and you wont be able to see the trail. Also think about the room needed for horses to pass.
